I love Trump. I find myself thinking that in 2024 DeSantis may be a better candidate. He’s significantly younger and seems very very solid. Need to keep my eye on him.

DeSantis would be infinitely better than Trump. DeSanis’ people are lock step with his vision and help him carry it out. Trump hired (and endorses) people who did nothing but undermine his agenda and hasn’t learned a damn thing from it.

I also like Trump and I love what he did (and endured) for our fine Country. This list is long, but a few stand out. Operation Warp Speed likely saved millions of lives, the Right To Try gave cancer patients hope, the VA is a better place for us Vets, inflation was low, employment was at record levels, the border was more secure, people in uniform (Vets, Law Enf, Fire and Emer Resp.) were supported, and many more.

That said, I hated is intemperate comments and juvenile tweets and his compulsion to make political enemies unnecessarily. Way too many cringeworthy moments.

I know Republicans who say they will not vote for him again (and this includes close relatives who do not make idle statements).

I sincerely believe that Trump will help his legacy by supporting and promoting a political ally (such as DeSantis) who would be an effective chief executive at a time when our fine Country is vulnerable to "progressive change".

I could vote for a DeSantis/Abbott ticket.

Trump chose to back DeSantis when he ran for Governor over the candidate the Florida Republican party had chosen... As they say, the rest is history.

Best choice? Have a Trump/DeSantis ticket. The swamp will spend the first four years going after Trump and DeSantis can help with that while leaning how to identify and deal with the thugs and liars of the deep state. When the four years are up Trump’s got Biden’s mess undone and DeSantis hits the ground running...

DeSantis is the best candidate for President in 2024 and I hope that Trump starts 2023 by supporting DeSantis for President in 2024.

Trump had his shot. I don’t understand people on a website which is virtually 50% trashing trump picks including very recent ones turning around and saying in the next breath hes the best choice for round 3. The guy cannot assemble a good loyal team to save his own life and it cost him in 2020 and he’s not getting any younger. DeSantis for all his faults is better for 2024.

Sometimes we just have to move on. DeSantis may be GOP's version of JFK. Young and charismatic.

I, too, love Trump.

I, too, think DeSantis may be a better candidate.

If he’d choose Noem for VP, that could be good. She’s had a hiccup or two along the way, but does well on the issue of liberty. During the Covid thing her state was pretty much open and thriving.
