DOUGLASVILLE, Ga. (CBS46) - Georgia Governor Brian Kemp signed a bill Tuesday making it legal to carry a gun in public without a permit.
“SB 319 makes sure that law abiding Georgians, law abiding Georgians, including our daughters, and your family too, can protect themselves without having to have permission from your state government. The Constitution of the United States gives us that right, not the government,” said Gov. Kemp, (R) Georgia.
The governor signed the so-called Constitutional Carry Act into law Tuesday afternoon at a gun store in Douglasville.
“The logic that if we put more guns on the streets, we put more guns in people’s hands, we will have less crime is the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard,” said Rep. Roger Bruce, (D) District 61.
With Tuesday’s signing, Georgia becomes the 25th state with some type of constitutional carry law.
We need to go after people like Kemp, Raffensberger, McConnell, Romney, Graham, Murkowski, Collins with a vengeance and determination. The time for playing nice with these back-stabbing, self serving reprobates should be over and done!
I would much rather destroy those people than allow them to further destroy our Republic while enriching themselves.
I’ll still take a Kemp signing carry free laws than abrams that would go out of her way to repeal that. Just me.
When you maintain low standards, then by all means, be happy with the results.
You’re going to get Kemp or abrams in GA. Guaranteed they’ll win their primaries. It’s then up to you which is better or worse if you vote in GA. I thankfully don’t.
Thank God that I don’t live in Georgia.
I’d still vote 10x for Kemp over abrams if I could.

“Wisconsin Constitutional Carry
Wisconsin is not a constitutional carry state. The state has a shall-issue policy for the application of gun permits and will issue to residents that meet all application requirements. The permit processing is carried out by the state Justice Department.
You do not need to complete a criminal record background check to purchase firearms from private dealers and gun shows in the state. However, to purchase firearms from federally licensed dealers in the state, you have to complete all the necessary procedures.”
All of my guns have been through ‘private sales’ which is to say the MEN in my life looking out for ME whereas Mother Government won’t.
