Florida is a purple state. I saw tons of people voluntarily wearing masks when I was in South Florida in January. White boomers will put DeSantis over the line in November but it is far from solidly red. My mom lives in Palm Beach County and is wayyyy outnumbered by Dems.

Palm Beach County is part of the belly of the beast. Red Florida is much much less insane.

There are always crazy people who like putting on masks, like Muslims and hard core lefties.
Sane people stopped putting on masks long ago.
As for Florida, we control both US Senate seats, the governorship, etc etc. The Dems don't really control much of statewide offices.
And DeSantis will win again in November. And by a bigger margin.
