On Thursday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Special Report,” Senate Minority Leader Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) predicted that the border and illegal immigration will be “huge” in the 2022 elections and were going to be major issues even before the Biden administration announced its decision to revoke Title 42. McConnell also argued that thanks to President Joe Biden’s policies, “We have open borders now, almost.”

We have open borders. We have no entry/exit tracking for people traveling by air. We have negligible interior enforcement. We have sanctuary cities. We have a DIV visa lottery which is inherently un American - it celebrates the recipient based on where they are from rather than who they are as an individual. We have ‘dual intent’ H1-B visas. We give individual amnesties to people like ‘Uncle Omar’ and ‘Aunt Zeituni’ because one ran into a cop car and the other lived in boston public housing. We automatically consider anyone born in the USA a citizen regardless of the circumstances of their parents - only ‘diplomats’ are excluded.
We must be making a lot of land on which these people will live, drive, and work.
