Chris Wallace got into a heated exchange with “1619 Project” author and New York Times reporter Nikole Hannah-Jones, who told him that the generation that fought in World War II “brutally suppressed” black people.
Hannah-Jones, who said the US is a country “founded on racism,” got pushback from Wallace in response to her claim that the “Greatest Generation” that fought in World War II “brutally suppressed democracy” by denying African Americans the right to vote in the US.
During his CNN+ show, Wallace read aloud a passage from the “1619 Project” — the controversial, Pulitzer Prize-winning series from the New York Times in which Jones and others argue that America’s founding was predicated on a desire to preserve slavery.

What is the sound of two idiots talking?
If the America’s GREATEST GENERATION brutally suppressed “the black peoples”, why the hell do they stay here instead of going home to Africa? Doesn’t make any sense to me. They must be dumber than a sock full of rocks. I would have left a long time ago.
I thought they came home, refused to talk about their experiences, and just wanted to be left alone to get back to taking care of their families.

Alas, the race-baiters have found that they can get mileage out of it.
With Chrissy now as the resident “conservative” on CNN, as William F Buckley would say, he’s now “the tallest building in Wichita”.
Moronic, ignorant, and dishonest.
It should be noted also that slavery continued to be practiced in areas that later became US territories and states by the natives living there and their practice of slavery was abolished by laws passed after those places came under US control. Native American tribes practiced slavery and allied with the Confederacy - after the War, they were required to abolish slavery in order for the US to recognize their governments as legitimate.

Slavery as an evil and a vice that was ubiquitous in the world that the US was a part of at its founding. Historical reality shows work to start outlawing it was continuous - and was a strong topic of debate at the writing of the Constitution and it lead to great conflict and its complete abolition. That’s hardly consistent with the claim the US was founded to preserve slavery.
This can't be said often enough, loud enough. Britain forced slavery on America. 100 years ago, historians said this plainly and recognized it was Britain who did this. Now historians blame it all on the U.S.
Even Britain slammed the us for slavery...
When it was their monarchy that would not allow it to be stopped.
It was appealed for decades to various kings and denied.
Who put starch in Wallace’s shorts?
Just like there are Whites and “trailer trash Honey boo boo” whites.
Chris Rock Speaks the truth.
As was he.
what about Victor Davis Hanson?
Do not use the word racist
Instead use the correct term political.
All Black activity is political in nature. The only reason Black Lives Matter is because political control of the City States depends entirely on a slim margin of Black votes. If that margin is lost the entire Democrat party is kaput.
Kissing Black ass 24/7 365 is an existential democrat necessity
This is just their way of trying to keep their brands on the shelves and trying to keep people from forgetting all about them.
