Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell on Thursday said that he's going to do everything in his power to help fellow GOP Sen. Lisa Murkowski win reelection this November.
"It's important for Lisa to be reelected. She's one of the few, sort of moderates in the middle of the Senate," the top Republican said during an interview with Axios' Jonathan Swan.
McConnell praised Murkowski, who's served in the Senate for 20 years, as "a key player in advancing bipartisan legislation."
"We're going to do everything we can to make sure she's successful," he said.

Nice little thing he has going on there. This is why we have business as usual with the Repubs get a majority. Nothing substantial happens- placeholder till the dems win back the majority.
None of the conservative senators can contradict Mitch, because then they don't get anywhere.

Murkowski votes for confirmation of a enabler of infant and child rape, abuse, and torture. That makes Murkowski one too. McConnell supports Murkowski and we already know about McConnell’s tastes for little boys. These are sick people and have no business being in government at any level.
I agree. All one need do is go look at the ‘homes’ they purport as their residences in their respective states and then go see where they ACTUALLY live in DC or Virginia....
Anybody that’s been in the U.S. Senate for 20 years doesn’t deserve praise. They are only there for the power, and money they have been able to confiscate over those years. They aren’t there for the people of their State.

McConnell is another example of why the 17th Amendment should be repealed. Would the Kentucky legislature do worse?
For those of you who are posting about RINOs, let me point out that it doesn’t get much more real that the (elected) Senate Majority Leader.
McConnell, Romney, Paul Ryan, Kevin McCarthy, and, yes, Liz Cheney and Lisa Murkowski - THESE ARE THE REAL REPUBLICANS.
If you are a Republican, THIS is what you support. If you ELECT Republicans, this is what you are going to get.
If she on;y voted with the Dems, she votes with the Bolshekrats. She must go.
That's it in a nutshell!! All the GOPe love being in the minority..that way they can give the Dems what they want in exchange for a few minor tid-bits because they are in the minority...and use those tid-bits to get reelected

If it is a choice of Al Gross (D) or Lisa Murkowski (likely scenario), I will vote for the Democrat for spites sake. Sorry, not sorry. Democrats are going to vote heavy for Murkowski in the primary and may overcome Tshibaka. Likewise it will be Democrats that keep Romney in place.
