Incorrect regarding gas and electricity. Lithuania actually has excess gas import capacity (mostly from Norway and [yes currently] the US.) Electricity mostly comes from Sweden and Poland - some still comes from Russia. (Work in progress - different systems, so, not easy.)

Lithuania once had a lot of nuke generation capacity, but, it was from a 2 unit old Chernobyl type plant, and was shut down years ago because of the obvious safety concerns.
Of note, Lithuania has substantial wind power generation AND pumped hydroelectric storage capacity.

I think that plain commonsense tells us that the spillage of something which will rapidly evaporate is less devastating than the spillage of something that will persist, on site, for years, maybe decades.

Thanks for doing the math, I knew it was a low number. They represent a bit over 1% of Europe’s population. Heck, with a big bunch of money, we could get 1% of our population completely off the carbon-based grid with solar/wind/battery farms (several Trillion dollars for 1% of our population, the cost of one of Biden’s many ‘stimulus’ bills). The problem is the next 99%...or even the next 9%.

Actually Japan told the West to STUFF IT and is continuing with their LNG project with Russia, as Japan puts their interests before those of the Azov Brigade.
First, Japan is Pro-NATO, has joined in on the sanctions against Russia. There are even Japanese volunteers fighting in Ukraine helping to kill Russians. That's hardly a "told the West to stuff it" in your fantasy. We will see if Japan doesn't decide to sacrifice the LNG too once the piles of dead Ukrainian civilians, the mass graves on satellite that the Russkies were digging in Buchal as recently as a couple of days ago, and the evidence of torture and rape from Ukrainian witnesses hits the global media. None of Russia's usual bullshit blaming Ukrainians for this is going to work. That's what happens when you have Russian conscripts who spend most of their time torturing and raping the shit out of each other even during peace times. They get to another country and start torturing and raping the civilians.
I have a feeling a lot of countries are going to sacrifice a lot more to punish Russia for these crimes.
Maybe you can order some Russkie gas? Maybe order some Russkie parts to run your mobility chair? Anything to help Putin in his time of need!
