Sarah Palin, a former Alaska governor and the Republican nominee for vice president in 2008, said Friday that she was entering the race for Alaska’s lone congressional seat, marking her return to national politics after she helped revive the anti-establishment rhetoric that has come to define the Republican Party.
She will be joining a crowded field of nearly 40 candidates to fill the House seat left vacant by Representative Don Young, whose unexpected death last month has spurred one of the largest political shifts in the state in 50 years.
Ms. Palin said she planned to honor Mr. Young’s legacy, painting a dystopian picture of the nation in crisis, criticizing the “radical left,” high gas prices, inflation and illegal immigration.
“America is at a tipping point,” she said in the statement. “As I’ve watched the far left destroy the country, I knew I had to step up and join the fight.”

During the 2008 presidential campaign, Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin warned that if Senator Barack Obama were elected president, his “indecision” and “moral equivalence” may encourage Russia’s Vladimir Putin to invade Ukraine.
Palin said then:
“After the Russian Army invaded the nation of Georgia, Senator Obama’s reaction was one of indecision and moral equivalence, the kind of response that would only encourage Russia’s Putin to invade Ukraine next.”
She will be running against 40 opponents for this seat.
She will stand out.
She endorsed Trump early on and he may return the favor.

Nice to see she will attempt this. With something like 40 people in the upcoming Republican primary, should be interesting. Wonder if Trump will offer or change endorsement (don’t know if he’s already endorsed anyone).

Kelly Tshibaka will make a fine replacement for Murkowski. We need Sarah in Congress. I think they will make a great team for Alaska and, maybe, just maybe, they will motivate Sullivan. Sullivan has been a sore disappointment for me.

14 lawsuits were filed against Sarah Palin, all of which were eventually thrown out of court but for all of which she had to pay her own attorneys fees. The Democrats are evil and will stop at nothing to destroy the opposition.
