“Norway’s defence ministry says it has donated an additional 2,000 m72 anti-tank weapons to Ukraine - Reuters.”
NEW: “It’s got to change” per @US_EUCOM’s Gen Wolters when asked abt US permanent basing situation in eastern #Europe
“...to change the presence from a rotational to a more permanent [one]” he says, noting @NATO allies are working w/the US on this
“over the past four weeks the United States has given Ukraine 4,600 javelin anti-tank missiles. This accounts for more than half of the 8,885 javelins the DOD acquired in the past decade, based on the DOD’s budget documents.”
A Praporshchik corresponds roughly to a senior petty officer in the U.S. Army.
Regards,
“Russia has lost more than 10,000 troops in the Ukraine conflict, according to @UnderSecStateP”
Putin doesn’t care how many Russian soldiers he gets killed. He is diabolical.
Grossly inflated numbers from biased source.
Until the clowns that brought us the Afghanistan withdrawal debacle are brought to account, this isn’t even worth discussing.
Russian bot is going to Russian bot.
“Norway’s defence ministry says it has donated an additional 2,000 m72 anti-tank weapons to Ukraine - Reuters.”
M72 Light Anti-tank Weapon (LAW) is really not going to stop any tanks, except maybe to throw a track. It will blow up a truck real good, or can be used against an emplacement, like a machine gun or sniper position. Very light and easy to carry, compared to a Javelin or NLAW.
Perhaps a Chief Petty Officer in the USN or YSCG
An equivalent Army rank would be a Sergeant First Class, a Gunnery Sergeant in the USMC. A Chief Master Sergeant in the USAF.
I have no clue what USSF equivalent might be.
E7 pay grade.
Yes, of course! The history of the Práporshchik is a little complicated. Started out as an officer's rank - the lowest - in the Army (though the word literally translates as "ensign" - hence my confusion). Is now between officer and NCO.
Regards,
It seems like there are fewer pro-Putin posters.
Have actual Americans finally seen what a mess the world would have if naked aggression succeeds? Or have paid FSB posters seen that their posts are ineffective? Or have westerners paid by Moscow had their checks bounce?
Seems fewer Putin fanboys on my daily posting of Invader tank losses. Maybe they don’t like the facts.
But other posting are flooded with them.
They are still there.
