That’s why ultimately automakers will phase out ICE vehicles. Now you see the only car that Ford makes nowadays is the Mustang. That is what the future will look like when it comes to ICE vehicles. So if you want to replace your ICE vehicle, the time to buy one would be before 2025.

That would explain why they are phasing out internal combustion fuels.

Your vintage F150 might be in excellent shape at turn of 2030, but good luck finding anything to put in the tank.

All of our vehicles are over ten years old. I do not expect to buy a new vehicle again in my lifetime. If used vehicle prices ever come back down to earth, then a good, ten years old or older used vehicle with low mileage may be the best investment you can make.
