The Ukrainian forces have reportedly recaptured key strategic locations of Trostyanets in Sumy Oblast, Poltavka and Malynivka villages in Zaporizhzhia Oblast from the invading Russian forces.

Putin will likely end up with the pre-war de facto situation (Easter Ukraine effectively under Russian control and Ukraine not admitted to NATO) but at the cost of 40,000 Russian troops (killed, seriously wounded, missing, deserted, or captured) and the destruction of $100b of Russian military equipment.

The United States was a “free state”, one which got hijacked by a group of totalitarians. The United States set up a chemical WMD program in a country next to Russia ....in Ukraine, a “free state”.
The United States proved that we will not allow offensive Russian missiles into Cuba. I agree with this policy, and would expect nothing less from Russia over a bioweapons lab in Ukraine.
