WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. President Joe Biden's public approval rating fell to a new low of 40% this week, a clear warning sign for his Democratic Party as it seeks to retain control of Congress in the Nov. 8 election, according to a Reuters/Ipsos opinion poll.

The national poll, conducted on March 21 and 22, found that 54% of Americans disapprove of his job performance as the country struggles with high inflation and Russia's invasion of Ukraine has pushed geopolitical concerns to the fore.

While 77% of self-identified Democrats said they approved of his job performance, only 10% of self-identified Republicans and 27% of independents gave him a positive rating.

The figure around 40% seems like a strong wall which is hard to breach for a Democrat President.

No amount of bad news seem to be denting it. It’s been near the 40% for months now.

Even if true, it means that there is still an overabundance of idiots out there.

While the possibility of an indictment is slim, the possibility of a conviction is minuscule.

What an indictment would show is that Biden has outlived his usefulness and the Deep State is moving to take him out…

“Republicans don’t fight against or for anything.”

Let’s not generalize. A lot of Pubs are fighting tooth and nail against the Biden regime, but then there are the RINO’s that stop up the works. They must be gotten rid of to the greatest extent possible in the Mid-Term Elections.

There is no way in hell Biden has anywhere near 40% approval.

The whole “fighting the liberal Biden agenda” is just a catch word put out by professional consultants who focus-grouped suburban wine women.

No, I can believe it is around 40 for Biden. Almost half the country are gimme-dats.

I appreciate your point. Admittedly, there are some who do push back and genuinely try to advance a conservative agenda, but they get little support and often face resistance from entrenched colleagues who are content to appease liberals.

In general, Republicans tend to avoid confrontation. They don’t like to fight because they don’t really have any convictions or beliefs that they are committed to.

Heck, Republicans cannot even manage to shrink government when they are control! If they would just do that maybe they would enjoy more credibility.

I would like to see the party stand for something other than their singular obsession with lowering taxes. Shrinking the government behemoth would be a good place for them to start demonstrating principles — and earning our votes. There’s been too much talking and not enough doing.

What are they planning?

Hire/Sponsor an FBI-indoctrinated “conservative male white supremist Trump insurrectist stooge “ to assassinate Harris. Shoot that “male white supremist”.

Then plug Hillary into the VP slot, and immediately 25th Amendment Biden. Give Biden his Nobel Peace Prize for opposing Putin by starting the Ukraine War.
