WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. President Joe Biden's public approval rating fell to a new low of 40% this week, a clear warning sign for his Democratic Party as it seeks to retain control of Congress in the Nov. 8 election, according to a Reuters/Ipsos opinion poll.
The national poll, conducted on March 21 and 22, found that 54% of Americans disapprove of his job performance as the country struggles with high inflation and Russia's invasion of Ukraine has pushed geopolitical concerns to the fore.
While 77% of self-identified Democrats said they approved of his job performance, only 10% of self-identified Republicans and 27% of independents gave him a positive rating.

Which means it’s really 25%.

I refuse to believe it’s that high.
Joe is not supposed to be popular. The deep state is planning on him being a figurehead and object of public scorn while they begin to implement God-only-knows what plans for the future.
I doubt this. Other polls have the idiot at 36%. I think they are padding the numbers at that.

There is absolutely no way 77% of Democrats “approve” of Biden. But the numbers work if you figure 40% Dems sampled, 38% Republicans and the rest independents.
That IS the scary thing. These two are both "disposable politicians". One's at the end of his grift and the other's just a callgirl with some apparent hidden talents. They sure as'ell ain't on display!
But what, oh what are the PTB planning? Only thing for sure is, it ain't gonna be any good. If they jack the mid-terms the next 2 years could get "sporty"..
You can see it in the Commercials the GOP is putting out. Nothing about opposing the existential threat to America and the world. It’s all about “fighting the liberal Biden agenda”, and making Joe look like this formidable foe.
I’m just not so sure the ‘enemy’ is that smart to push for loesrs. I think biden/harris are basically what dems wanted and voted for, and a lot of them still don’t regret it. And they won’t ever, no matter how bad it gets.
Seems like each ‘New Low’ is higher than the one before.
The media thinks we don’t notice.
I am sure that there were polls done since last November showing Biden at 36% or even less.

If Reuters admits to 40% it’s really 30%.
I think half of that would be closer and still on the generous side.
When below 45% approval, the rise in disapproval probably starts to matter more than approval continuing to fall. And he’s well over 50% now. His approval could fall to 30% but disapproval was only at 40%, that would not be as bad his current 54% disapproval vs. 40% approval. There is less and less indifference according to the data trends and more people who outright disapprove of his job performance.
They’re talking about their own polls...not comparing them to other polls.
Yes, and the vast majority of the GOP have swallowed the recent war narrative whole, and have completely given up any question of Ukraine/Russia and also by default, Hunter's laptop/Steele Dossier/spying on Trump, etc..
They have declared their inferior position as a minority partner of the uniparty.
