Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky appears to have accepted that his country will not become a member of NATO, one of the demands made by Russia before it invaded.

According to a translation of his comments in a speech, Zelensky said that Ukraine had "realized" it would not become part of the Western military alliance.

"For years we've heard the opposite, open doors, However, it is not," he said Tuesday according to Ukrainian news outlet, Trukha.

"Our people understand this, and we are beginning to count on our own strength," he added.

He never was. He always knew that. So did we but we kept pumping the propaganda painting a false narrative.

Do people not see that this administration and the Uniparty is the source of much evil?

Do people see that Trump wasn’t meddling and using Ukraine to push the NWO agenda? He armed them instead of giving them blankets like Obama did before igniting a crisis.

Putin didn’t invade because he knew Trump was not pushing that agenda.

> Now, all Zelenksy has to do is recognize Crimea as part of Russia and the DPR and LPR as independent states and the war can end. <

In other words, give Putin everything he really wanted in the first place, and so reward his aggression. But thanks to the pre-invasion bumbling by Biden and NATO, Ukraine might have to do exactly that.

This organization is created to counter Russian aggression... To force people not to join, they invade the country.

That’s some logic for you...

I agree with this regardless of the unpopularity of it. Those that tell the truth are called treasonous. This will be the next big theme from the left.

Because NATO doesn’t want them and increase the threat of war with Russia.

I think our State Department was egging him on, painting a better picture than the reality on the ground.

Biden assures Zelenskiy that NATO membership in Ukraine's hands, Kyiv says
"KYIV, Dec 9 (Reuters) - U.S. President Joe Biden assured Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy that Kyiv's bid to join the NATO military alliance was in its own hands, Zelenskiy's chief of staff said after the two leaders spoke on Thursday.

Biden and Zelenskiy had a call two days after Biden held talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin to try to defuse a crisis over Russian troop movements near Ukraine's borders."

NOW he’s seen for his own self that NATO is chicken sh!t. They won’t even give them a couple dozen obsolete MIGs, which is all that Poland has, for all its membership privilege. NATO is and will remain chicken sh!t for as long as Foe Brandon is POTUS. So why join.

EU membeship is probably more important to the Ukraine in the long run. NATO in its present form is obsolete.

Is there anything that says he (or whoever the Ukrainian head of state is) can’t change his mind later ? And what happens if he does ?

I think this is a smart play for Ukraine.
Look, people in Ukraine will NEVER accept Russia now. They have invaded over and over gain in the last 100 years.

You say whatever to get them out of your country. Not being part of NATO is a big plus actually. When your part of NATO you have to have permission to attack Russia.

Yes, of course Ukraine is to weak now to attack Russia and take back their land. However, with the inevitable Russian sanctions, in 3-5 years Russia could be weak. Then when Ukraine attacks to take back their land and ‘get even’ they wont be part of NATO.

I get the feeling this isn’t going to end soon. Putin has to know that he has put an enemy on his doorstep with a terrible resolve. Who to say that Ukraine and other former Warsaw pact members won’t join up outside of Nato and go for Russia?

In 1989 Jaruzelski would have said that Poland will never join NATO.
