One hundred women have graduated from the U.S. Army’s esteemed Ranger School as of Friday, Task & Purpose has learned.
“The Airborne and Ranger Training Brigade confirmed that the 100th woman graduated the course with Ranger Class 03-22,” said Col. Antwan L. Dunmyer, Commander of the Airborne and Ranger Training Brigade at Fort Benning, Georgia. “She was the only woman to graduate with that class.”.....
The first women graduated Ranger School in August 2015, and since then women have continued breaking barriers. Capt. Kristen Griest, one of the very first women to earn the Ranger tab, became the first female infantry officer in the Army. Another one of the first 10 women to graduate Ranger School, Capt. Shaina Coss, became the first woman to lead Rangers in combat.

From what I am watching in the Ukraine Russians are too disorganized to shake in their boots. They seem to be wondering where are we and what are we doing and should I be shaking in my boots.
Definitely. Imagine a 21st century feminist having her period in the company of good, hard men. She’ll have the same net effect upon our military that the 19th amendment has had upon the Republic.
You’re welcome. The article is quite incisive, too. The truth makes me a neanderthal to some, but I find it in myself to admire and respect women who can see the truth in it.
And that is real respect. Too many women take it as a misogynist attack of some sort to point out fact, so when a woman understands and accepts that specific point, I easily accept them as a rational person who is more tethered to the reality-based truth rather than a Hollywood version of GI Jane.
You bet. That linked article really put it all together.
You are welcome. That is an excellent article.
“From what I am watching in the Ukraine Russians are too disorganized to shake in their boots”
You may want to look elsewhere for your sources of propaganda er information....
;-)
Agreed—I think we all knew the standards had crashed and burned, but the article drilled down and gave details.
Lowered standards, and now destroyed unit cohesion.

Anti-American objectives from the outset. Feminism weaponized against the American military. SO OBVIOUS!
There is no such thing as strap on reality.

Bwahahaha, I see what you did there!
Any man who has actually faced life-threatening situations in law enforcement, firefighting, or combat, if he is honest, will admit that he would NOT want to rely upon females in such situations. So in that regard every comment in your post is irrelevant and presumably intended to be misleading!
Yeah, sure they did.
No offense intended, but don’t waste my time. What’s your point?
I’m sure I’m not the only one here who knows someone there who will tell you
They lower standards
Increase time
Allow restarts way up the course and so on
It’s a joke
A real woman would refuse it
This is Darby
Not 75th regiment which so far is still a serious deal
They should change the name of the Darby program which is open to folks the world over any branch
Kilgore Texas
That may be of the draft
But young men who contract 11 X-ray or bravo are not soyboys even today
I suppose marines are similar
Because they made "Ranger School" so weak that they could do it.
Yeah
RASP-1 is a mo different animal than Darby
Your response to my post is puzzling. I gather you think I am wasting your time, and that you don’t understand what the “point” of my post is.
I assumed since you entered a thread on Free Republic that had to do with female graduates of Ranger School that you might have had interest in the core principle of why it is even worthy of being posted here: The issue that females who are accepted into Ranger school are less physically capable, and that standards of graduation have been lowered.
If I had posted about something totally non-germane to the subject such as a silly GIF, I might agree with you. As it is, this article, one of the best I have ever seen on the subject, goes right to the heart of the matter.
You don’t see what the point is?
Ranger course is not a Ranger
This likely the most confusing nomenclature of the armed forces
But you know that already I bet
You can pass RASP and join 75th as a genuine Ranger without Darby although you’re expected to go to Ranger school as well at some point
This may have changed given WOT had slowed so much
