That doesn’t change the fact that Russian Generals failed miserably in this war. Its not the Ukrainians who are defeating Russia, but Russia’s own military leadership.
Far too many Generals lined their own pockets rather than maintain the Russian army.
Make no mistake Russian generals are also entirely responsible for completely failing to devise and implement a strategy to invade the Ukraine and supply their army.
This should have been a cake walk for the Russian army, instead their generals let their army get stranded in enemy territory on the account of inadequate plans to resupply them.
The Red Army in WW II also had NKVD troops behind their lines to encourage the hesitant.
