Vice President Kamala Harris has been criticized for breaking into laughter Thursday after she was asked whether the US will take in Ukrainian refugees.
The awkward moment took place during a joint press conference with Poland President Andrzej Duda in Warsaw.
The two leaders had been asked similar questions about the US accepting Ukrainian refugees or otherwise easing pressure on Poland’s strained humanitarian resources.
After the reporter had posed her questions, Harris and Duda looked at each other as if each expected the other to respond first.
“A friend in need is a friend indeed,” the veep added before laughing loudly at her own line.

Laughing inappropriately is a major indicator of untruthfulness in body language reading. Pretty damning.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a politician who cracks herself/himself up as much as Kamala. Kamala truly considers Kamala to be a laugh-out-loud riot. She constantly has herself in stitches. Unfortunately, I’m glad one person finds her funny because the rest of don’t. while she laughs, everyone who loves this country cries.
There are a lot of different types of laughs, not all jovial. Hers is a laugh of derision.
We send our best to represent us. Between Harris and Biden, do we know how to impress other countries, or what?

Every time she appears on screen, or utters anything on behalf of the country and the people of the U.S., she becomes the equivalent of a rancid fart that makes everyone around hold their noses.
She is a painfully unpleasant, and why the Biden administration uses her for anything, means that, they’re bound and determined to inflict as much pain as possible opon the American people.
That’s what happens when you refuse to allow your staff to prep you on any given issue....you look like a moron.
Getting a position and properly executing the duties of that position in an effective way are two different things....especially when you have no real experience.
In 31 years of federal service I saw my share of people in that very situation....and yes a fair share were minority females.
Because those who are old enough to know it shouldn’t be happening are too old to do anything about it and those who are young enough don’t care.
She’s ALWAYS out of her depth!!
She’s an incompetent parasite in US government and was NEVER ready for prime time. Her perennial lack of gravitas has never been ‘normal’ ...but NOW it’s an embarrassment to all Americans and absolutely an affront to our allies and certainly to Ukrainians, who are facing the most existential challenge that any people can experience!!
Out of kindness, I would laugh very hard every time she laughed, to lend support. Every reporter should do that.

Remember, in the primaries she took 1% if the popular vote. Think about that for a second, 1% if the US thought she should be president, now she is one heartbeat away from being that person
