I've read common electrical lines have transistors which are designed to cool down overnight under a reduced load. With EV’s that doesn't happen. Also, in summer AC use often breaks the grid. Why would the grid be able to handle the entire energy load for cars? Which is why Bill Gates wants nuclear reactors in neighborhoods, which is an obscene idea.

Small nuclear generators are a great solution to the problem of electricity generation.
