Secretary of State Antony Blinken said Sunday that NATO members have the go-ahead to send fighter jets to Ukraine as the U.S. and allies continue their efforts to help Ukraine defend itself against Russia's invasion.
"That gets a green-light," Blinken said in an interview with "Face the Nation" when asked whether the Polish government, a member of NATO, could send fighter planes to Ukraine. "In fact, we're talking with our Polish friends right now about what we might be able to do to backfill their needs if in fact they choose to provide these fighter jets to the Ukrainians. What can we do? How can we help to make sure that they get something to backfill the planes that they are handing over to the Ukrainians?"

They initiated the request. Biden said no. Now they are getting push back and letting the poles make their own decision. You give Biden a lot more credit for being internationally influential than he actually is. And other nations do have rights to make their own decisions in their own perceived best interests.

If Russia attacks Poland (even in retaliation) I would bet that NATO would use that as justification to begin open hostilities with Russia. A trumped up fake war where a NATO country attacks Russia and then when it gets hit back invokes the mutual defense treaty? Sure, they'd do it. The war mongers had a taste of being sidelined while Trump was in power and they want a BIG war to make up for it.
No, this is absolutely incorrect. You are making stuff up. No decision is made outside the NATO hierarchy. Watch the press conference and statements made just a few days ago after NATO Secretary Stoltenberg's visit to Poland. Its absolutely not: "we're gonna let the Poles do their own thing."
The dirty little secret is our State Department hates Poland every bit as much as Russia because they resist the LGBT agenda, so they wouldn’t mind a little Mutual Destruction between the two countries.
