Uh oh...looks like Trump is for intervention in Ukraine. I wonder what the freepers who were proPutin because they thought Trump was proPutin are going to say now?
Part of Trump's strength is that he's not afraid to be hated by the Establishment.
Part of his weakness is that he still craves the adulation of crowds. And he listens too much to Kushner.
So maybe the Kushners have convinced Trump that supporting intervention in Ukraine will win him cheers among his base?
Jesus to goodness.
No one is pro-Putin, because they don’t want another Iraq War, and not taking sides. Just stop, already.
Does Europe have any men in it or what?
The oligarchs and their kids and grandkids can go fight in the war.
Nobody was proPutin here except obvious Russian trolls.
And only lefties thought Trump likes Putin.
Still against it. This is just another war to impoverish America for the WEF's Great Reset.
We never did take a revenge against the Saudi Arabia after 911 did we? The Bush crime family tricked us into a second war in Iraq and another one in Afghanistan. Now Saudi Arabia's chocking us out with OPEC along with Biden. Fantastic!
Please explain to me how the average American is going to benefit from this deep state war?
Do you know what a false dilemma is?
The laughable part is most of the Putin Fan Club won’t admit it, but will will bend over backwards to justify the actions of their man in Moscow.
Count me out, President Trump.
Putin is mentally unstable, and he has control of hundreds of nuclear weapons aimed at the USA.
I am not ready to sacrifice my own life or my entire country to protect Ukraine.
We may have to make decisions about nuclear war in the near future - but not today.
Let the Ukraine situation unfold naturally and see where it takes us before we risk the lives of millions of Americans and our own economic annihilation.
I guess the Putin lovers will have to find another candidate to back. Maybe they can draft Tucker Carlson.
I appreciate Trump’s sense of humor - especially the chinese flag quip. There was a time, not that long ago, when it was ok to admire the battle tactics of, say, a Japanese general, or a confederate colonel or an Argentine commander, without even remotely being perceived as a slobbering fan.
And I agree with Trump - nato countries should have had armaments at the ready to pour over Ukraine’s borders the same time Trump was sending them millions and getting pig-nosed by Congress for asking Ukraine, among other things, where those millions were going. It shouldn’t be up to the US to marshall this. Continental pantywaists sit around talking about an EU defense force to supplement Nato forces, but can’t manage to get out of their Spanish leather recliners to actually agree on any path of action - on anything - much less funding the defense of themselves or their neighbors... it’s downright embarassing.
Shhhhh...
If you tell them their delusion (that Trump and Putin planned this together to destroy the “NWO” “cabal” in Ukraine) is not real their heads might explode...
I am for dismantling NATO. Let the sniveling Europeans fight Russia. They would not lift a finger to help the USA now it’s their turn for some pain.
I think the NATO inaction that is doing the worst harm is their continuing of keeping the Ukraine on as a NATO aspirant.
Ukraine as a NATO member has long been a stated contention of Russia, and either NATO or Ukraine removing that potential takes away that contention.
No Freepers are pro Putin. Most are anti Biden cause everything he does turns to sh@t.
He’s risking a nuke war protecting a corrupt government.
A) I am not “Pro-Putin”. I am pro Monroe Doctrine and therefore a pro “spheres of interest” foreign policy. Ukraine is a 100% legitimate target for a Russian sphere of influence as a general matter, and now, since specifically Russia is willing to fight for it and I am not, I oppose US involvement.
B) I endorsed Trump here the day he came down the elevator and fought the Cruz types here until the nomination was secure. Like Trump I was born and grew up an outer boroughs guy, and I voted for him twice.
C) Anybody who is for or against a major and consequential policy not because it’s good or bad but because Trump is for or against it is a moron.
D) I’m not convinced that the tremendous good Trump 1.0 brought to our politics (Build the wall, deport them all, reopen the factories, end offshoring, bring the boys home, MAGA) can be reduplicated by Trump 2.0 and I’m keeping my options open for 2024. He’s a brave and honorable man, but, as others have pointed out, places high value on being liked and was incompetent (to put it mildly) on turning the Executive Branch into a MAGA war machine.
E) NATO is an entangling foreign alliance in EXACTLY the way President Washington feared and the NATO treaty should be repudiated. Trump said as much and failed to act.
Oh c’mon! Do you really think Donald Trump would say half the chit reported in that article? Put Chinese flags on F22’s and bomb Russia? Seriously? You have been punked! 😆
Who thought Trump was pro-Putin. He had to deal with Putin, as any world leader would have to, and he did. Biden colluded with Putin to steal the election, which is why he barks one way and bites the other, keeping the oil and gas flowing and having Russia mediate the nutso Iran negotiations, on the one hand, while calling Putin names on the other.
There are no Good Guys in this conflict. Which I believe Trump has said all along. Even when praising Putin for his timing, Trump has never said “Go, Russia”. At least, not that i ever heard.
If the news media EVER gave a complete story, we would have fewer idiots. As it turns out, sheeple only read headlines, “Trump praises Putin”, without any further context.
Of course, they wouldn’t have to make up a story saying “Trump calls Biden demented “.
Who’s pro Putin?
Conservatives' unending self-flagellation will be the death of them.
