I do not see this as a ‘military’ action.
I do not see this as a ‘political’ reprisal.
This is purely a ‘tribal’ action.
For a length of history, the Ukraine belonged to Russia.
It was theirs to do with, both people and realty.
It was the tsar who seized the farmlands held by Jews in that land.
So now, a land of ‘freedom’ or not,Putin, in his desiring a legacy, is acting like an amoeba, absorbing Ukraine back under Russian rule and ownership.

Lol, 141 countries in the UN General Assembly, vote overwhelmingly to condemn Russia, and demand that Moscow immediately withdraw its forces. Five countries voted against: Russia, Syria, North Korea, Belarus and Eritrea.
