A fire has been seen at a nuclear power plant in Ukraine after tanks opened fire with heavy weapons at the facility, footage in the early hours of Friday morning showed.
A live feed from the Zaporizhzhia station showed flames at the site in the east of country, having earlier showed tanks firing at buildings - sparking fears of a radiation disaster in the nation currently being invaded by Russian forces.
Dmytro Orlov, the mayor of the nearby town of Energodar, confirmed the blaze in an online post. The Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant is the largest of its kind in Europe.
'As a result of continuous enemy shelling of buildings and units of the largest nuclear power plant in Europe, the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant is on fire,' Orlov said on his Telegram channel, citing what he called a threat to world security.
Earlier, Ukrainian authorities reported Russian troops were stepping up efforts to seize the plant and had entered the town with tanks.
The shocking footage came after Ukrainian civilians defied Russian troops for a second day running in a bid to protect the nuclear plant. They were shown setting up make-shift road blocks in an attempt to block the road to the facility.
Both the Ukrainian state atomic energy company and Orlov said troops were nearing Zaporizhzhia. Officials said loud shots were heard in the city late Thursday.
'Many young men in athletic clothes and armed with Kalashnikov have come into the city. They are breaking down door and trying to get into the apartments of local residents,' the statement from Energoatom said.

So the Russians are shelling themselves? Or the above report incorrect?
And are the Russian soldiers nuclear technicians? Would the Ukrainians continue to operate it under Russian control? It seems if they didn’t their homes would become radioactive.

I had a look at weather forecast models and it would seem that the wind pattern over the next 3-5 days is mostly northwesterly sometimes backing to north or northeast. It will also be colder than normal for about two weeks. Middle of next week winds will fall off to light and variable then will go back to northeast later in the week when it is supposed to get even colder (around 20 F). The next two weeks are relatively dry with just a few outbreaks of light snow mostly in the eastern half of Ukraine. About two weeks from now a more unsettled pattern develops which looks like either cold rain or wet snow, sleet. Until then it should be a rather quiet but cold regime.

but then there’s Turkey, who may have a slight issue with fallout clouds over the Black Sea....especially after they’ve closed their straits to keep Russian Med-based warships out of the Black Sea, and continues to lobby for an immediate ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine, having relations with both.
China used the Olympics as a smokesscreen for Russian invasion of Ukraine so the bigger question is, what is China sneaking around doing right now, with Russia acting as a smokescreen for China?

Some reports the attack was done by Chechens. It wouldn’t be a surprise since they are well known for Neanderthal style military “tactics.”
Who knows what they will do. I suspect some are thinking that.
All I know is this:
1) Putin does not want the NWO/WEF cretins to succeed, in fact, he threw the Globalist Financiers out of Russia.
2) Ukraine had an intensive string of bio-weaponization operations that Putin has targeted and made non-functional, including one that was trying to weaponize rabies.
