If it is spring mud, then they have a couple of months of it to go, at least.
Every day then works in favor of the Ukrainians, and against the Russians. If they cannot manuever in the mud, they are very vulnerable to several types of attack.

Regarding the area of the convoy, Ukraine is saying they have recaptured the town of Makariv west of Kyiv and an encirclement of Russian troops is forming south of Kiev-Zhytomyr highway
Also, that Ukraine has recaptured the Gostomel airport and Bucha

Ukrainians have reported plenty of air attacks by both planes and drones over the last couple of days.
