Three House Republicans voted against a resolution on Wednesday that conservatives argued was so broad it could call to commit American troops to the conflict and for the United States to be in conflict with Russia “forever.”

The House overwhelmingly passed H. Res. 956, 426 to 3. Only three Republicans, Reps. Thomas Massie (R-KY), Matt Rosendale (R-MT), and Paul Gosar (R-AZ) voted against it.

From the bill...

(4) urges the United States and its allies and partners to deliver additional and immediate defensive security assistance to help Ukraine address the armored, airborne, and other threats Ukraine is currently facing from Russian forces;

This is very ambiguous. How far does this go?

(9) pledges to support working with Europe and international partners to bolster Europe’s energy security and reduce its dependence on Russian energy imports;

Why not also bolster America's energy security as well?

No one is talking about the Russia-China Partnership signed 2/4/2022
“ On the other hand, the most crucial element of the joint declaration was the alliance against the US. The sides declared that the US could escalate the colorful revolutions in the region and stand against that. Also, the sides have put their views on contrasting against terrorism, that they will not let politicization of terrorism, and using terrorism as a tool of interrupting the domestic politics of any country. The two countries highlighted that they would stand against the sanctions of the US by struggling with economic inequality.”

We don’t need boots on the ground. But if the Air Force wiped out their convoys and rocket launch sites it wouldn’t be a bad thing.

And who would be around to celebrate the tanks being gone? Jeez, I guess you don’t give shit about your family or your country. Hey lets save the Ukrainians from a conventional war by prevoking a nuclear one.

JFC. We absolutely cannot afford to go to war - with anyone. Hell, we’re on the verge of warring with ourselves, and it’s not our business! We’re giving as much support as we can in terms of armament, and we could do more by producing more oil, but our pvssy president (or whoever is calling the shots) sure won’t do that.

We didn’t learn after Vietnam, and apparently not after the disaster that Afghanistan became. What is wrong with our leadership?

Term limits. We need term limits.

I have a favorite in this European fight but my preference isn’t worth one American life. I don’t know why that’s so difficult to see.
