President Joe Biden will use his State of the Union address on Tuesday to say that President Vladimir Putin underestimated NATO and the way the world would rally against his invasion of Ukraine.
'Putin's war was premeditated and unprovoked. He rejected efforts at diplomacy,' he will say, according to excerpts released by the White House.

It is still a shooting gallery. Did you see on MSNBC and CNN the 40 mile long convoy of vehicles ready to enter Kiev? If there was one good Combat Support aircraft in all of the Eastern theater, they could LITERALLY decimate the Russian forces. Find a good Ukrainian pilot who is still alive, or tell one of ours to join their forces, and give him the plane.

Yep. The Ukraine wasn’t ready. They had weeks to prepare. It would have been prudent, even if it was believed that Russia wouldn’t attack
OTOH the Taiwanese are much more foresighted.
