Tell you what. There needs to be a total, 100% outsiders only list of hires for a new Trump administration.
I wonder if Trump understands that the entire fedgov monster is corrupt.
We no longer have the rule of law.

Taking the news at face value (I generally don't believe the media especially when access to multiple sources isn't available but let's go with it) then Ukraine has just shown Russia to be a paper tiger. Little Ukraine (huge in geography, tiny in world power) is standing up to Russia and beating them. Without our help, which also shows that our hubris as the world police is unnecessary and so is NATO.
How does this help Romney?

Micro Rubio is not a natural born citizen.
Plus he is a Bush League Republican who has voted to abandon the rule of law and surrender the country to illegal aliens.

In my opinion DeSantis would be a stronger candidate and a better President. No doubt - but no Republican has the slightest chance to beat the media with a campaign of virtuous talk and good governance. Trump’s bull-in-a-China-shop charisma is indispensable.

I’m talking about the primaries. The Republican party owns them, NOT the Trump supporters.
The Republican party has proven many times since June 16, 2015 that it really doesn’t want him in any sort of leadership position. At first he was used as a foil for JEB, but then things got away from them. They WILL NOT make that mistake again.

Can’t be true. I’ve been told by the best talking heads, that Trump’s hold on the Republican party has disappeared and the voters want someone more like Romney or Liz Cheney.

I wonder who they are planning to accuse DeSantis of "colluding" with. Will it still be Russia or will there be a new boogie man. Oh, I know. He will be accused of colluding with Trump!
No matter who the nominee will be, the left and their media mouthpieces will do the same to them as they did to Trump.
I think DeSantis should stay in Florida for a few more years and finish solidifying it as a red state. He is young and would be great in about ten years.
Also, to keep saying there is no way Trump could win and working to keep him off the ballot, shows that they know he will win and they are scared that he WILL run.

That is so true. The Bush League/Chamber of Commerce GOP members are so upset that we are on to them. Campaign conservative everyone. They pretend now that they didn't campaign on every policy Trump tried to implement. They made us promises they never intended on trying to keep. Meanwhile, they "worked across the aisle" to open the borders wider and wider, made sure Obamacare is here to stay, and helped dumb down our schools.
A pox on them all!

Who’s side are you on? I bet you $1000 Trump is on the ballot. Put up or stop with the stupid talk.

It seems like very few Dems ever retire for whatever reason.
Nancy being the combination of an Italian woman and a lefty with Platinum healthcare is likely good for another two decades.

Meanwhile, mainstream conservative media is doing their part to keep Biden's domestic failures off the front page. Russian/Ukraine consumes every bit of their coverage.
The media is trying the ole "rally round the flag" narrative to try to "bring the nation together to support our President" during this "time of war". As I said, a pox on them all!

People vote their pocketbook, typically.
Gas and groceries are going up fast.
Either Dems fix that (very unlikely) or they lose big in the fall, no matter what the MSM does.

I think Gov Desantis is a great guy - there are only couple of things that I wonder about with him - and he would likely be a great president.
However, I don’t think it would be good for the GOP for him and DT to fight each other and it might harm Gov D himself because of his wife’s illness. I think enemies of the party would totally shred on him for that, i.e., running for pres and fighting with Trumpy in the primaries with his wife being so ill.
Governor D is a young man and has a lot of miles left on him. DT was cheated out of a 2nd presidency and we should all sort of form a line over that whether we’re crazy about him or not. To be like, “Oh well, Trump lost! Whomp whomp what are ya gonna do? Let’s move on!” is what a lot of these lame pundits like to call “tone deaf.”
I’m suspicious of those who keep pimping Gov Desantis like he’s better than DT. It doesn’t really matter if he would do a better job - being more of a politician, I’m sure he would in some regards - what matters is restoring faith in our electoral system by decertifying false election results.
Ask yourself: Why would supposed Republicans accept, and urge others to accept, fraudulent election results? Why would they exhort us to forget about it?
Could it be that THAT’S HOW THEY LIKE IT?
