What is the Crypto executive order that Biden will address this week?
AS: Agenda del Fin de Semana ^ | 22 February 2022 | Greg Heilman

President Joe Biden is expected to issue an executive order this week that would direct government agencies to develop a strategy to regulate digital assets.

It was reported in January that the Biden administration was preparing an executive order to study cryptocurrencies with the aim of developing a government-wide framework to regulate digital assets. The executive order would also mandate government agencies investigate the possibility of launching a central bank digital currency (CBDC) issued by the US Federal Reserve.

The move comes as it is unlikely that Congress will put in place any legislation to standardize rules for crypto. The directive will not involve any immediate direct action but will task agencies to report back after they have investigated risks associated with crypto assets including their financial stability and impact on the environment.

Bankers in a panic.

But pay attention here:

What's crypto got to do with "the environment?" How? So what? Say what?! Are you some sort of banking anarchist? What? You're an Occupy Wall Streeter, aren't you? WTH?

Keep in mind that the purchasing power of $1.00 in 1913 (the Federal Reserve System was established) is now about 3 1/2 cents. Central planning and control always leads to catastrophe because it is always corrupted by greed, incompetence, and a lust for power. Human nature never changes.

Poor befuddled Christine Legarde:

"I don't like you crypto types "

She looks like she's past her expiration date.

She's probably thinking, "We need a good war to show these crypto punks who's boss."

Ah, no. The Bidenists and SJW types are not referring to oil when they say that cryptocurrencies and blockchain systems are “bad for the environment.” They don’t think that far ahead.

They are literally complaining about the increased electricity consumption of computers/servers that are dealing with crypto and blockchain - those require much greater CPU activity than normal.

However, it’s not a significant problem in reality - not compared to their desire to overload the grid with electric cars.

If America follows the Trump plan as described at the end of #1 above, then we don’t need the Petro-Dollar.

Read their own claims here:

They are literally freaking out about electrical consumption, where most people using cryptocurrencies will *never* make their power draws the media is predicting.

You might be off.

It’s not power, it’s bandwidth.

Consider Musk’s Starlink with 100 x the bandwidth of AT&T, Verizon.

And Musk’s Starlink is ready to go now, but in North America, it’s been banned to rural backwaters.

But he can turn it on from his satellite network with practically a flip of a switch.

The media is owned by CCP and Blackrock backed fronts, and is fed scripts prepared by Manhatten based PR firms that form the Mockingbird Media.

For example, storylines are intensely generated by PR writers and released to syndicated news outlets at 4:30 am ET every day.

And they are always accurate, aren’t they?

Beware the CBDC will be able to throttle us, turn us off and on, by controlling whether and what we may buy and sell.

End times?

The stupid “mining” of Bitcoin alone takes a large amount of energy to run the computers cranking away. That’s what they’re referring to, I presume.

Oil = Petro-Dollar
Petro-Dollar = Oil

To Biden and globalist cabal, “environment” is codespeak for Oil = Petro-Dollar.

Crypto threatens Petro-Dollar.

As Obarfo would say, “Easy - Peasy”

They’re making mountains out of mole hills. They’re sensationalizing it.

FEAR! FEAR! FEAR! OMG! CRYPTO GONNA CAUSE BLACKOUTS!

Meanwhile, Spktyr in #6 above points out their hypocrisy.

They’ve been letting out the crypto line for a long time, in part to pave the way for their CBDC. Now they are starting to reel it in. Many have been duped by the long con.

The environmental issue with bitcoin is that:
- anyone can create a new bitcoin by doing a complex calculation, and
- the complexity of the calculation increases with each new bitcoin created.

This limits the number of bitcoins by making it uneconomical to spend more energy on the calculation than the next bitcoin is worth. Currently you need a specialized computer system and a source of cheap electricity to make it economical to compute new bitcoins.

This is similar to the situation with gold, where obtaining a new ounce of gold requires a very expensive mine and a lot of energy to extract the gold from tons and tons of rock.
