I remember when he was caught funding both pro marijuana legalization as well as some "anti marijuana" "think tanks" (basically controlled hello-strawman opposition in the latter case). The press tried to gloss it over by calling him a "maverick" fostering "open debate". He is a slimeball out to destroy Western civilization in every possible way.

For me, that is what applies here.
When I see people who have become my bitterest of enemies, all clamoring in unison for some course of action, I understand at a fundamental level that I should not endorse that act.
Or if I do endorse it, to do so with great caution and forethought.

In this case it’s compounded by the complete lack of any effort to describe any US interests that would justify war.

I trust no one but myself. There are enough sources on the web to find out what every side is saying and who is lying, and then to develop an opinion. I also look at the ‘players’ and see who’s lining up with who. If the Dems, RINOs, and media are all on one side...then I would study thing very, very, carefully before joining them, which is why I haven’t joined them on Ukraine* and almost certainly will not.
*Per the Left: Ukraine was just a mild-mannered, minding its own business, and Putin woke up one morning and decided to invade.
