Prayers needed for FReeper frank ballenger...

My precious wife Joy, my love since 1973, passed away suddenly yesterday at home.
She lost consciousness and couldn’t be revived by medics after 911.
I have no friends or relatives around but my sisters in law and others will arrive from other states for the funeral.
I loved Joy for so long I don’t know how I can face life without her.
Please pray for her to be in Heaven and please pray for me to cope.

I totally agree with Joy’s childhood friend. Our God is a God of mercy, love and grace. God sees into our hearts. He desires that we are filled with love for each other and that we love Him. Joy had a heart filled with love. Lean into Jesus and trust Him.

Sometimes in church we sing “Humble thyself in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up”. God does love a humble heart. Trust Him more.

I belong to a church full of misfits. We are imperfect but the Lord is doing amazing work, cleaning each of us up and bringing us closer together as a family in Christ. I pray that you will find a church family to bless you and love on you.

I am trying to take your good advice as the pain of grief hopefull will subside. Hasn’t yet due to the nearly 47 years of togetherness memories and places and objects and songs that trigger more tears.

Incredible that I took so long to reply to you. I read your message over and over but I’m slowed down by grief and can’t do things normally. Sorry.

And informing the doctors and the dentist and others one by one brought it all back. I haven’t done the state and Soc.Sec. and banking and other stuff yet. Guess I wait for the death certificates the funeral director told me he is sending. So creepy.

I have read so many of your Proverbs posts and your comments that I feel like you are true FRiend.

Sorry I took so long to say so but I’m slowed down.
So many memories after nearly 47 years of marriage. Songs, places, objects, shared experiences and now only me to remember them all in grief.

I want to live so I can get up to Heaven to be with her and God. May she be there now to rest in peace with God.
