Yes, Tucker, There Is a US Security Interest in Ukraine
American Thinker.com ^ | February 25, 2022 | Sally Zelikovsky

In an ideal world, maybe we could ignore what's happening in Ukraine but we have to see the world as it is, not how we want it to be: Russia is calling and wants its Ukraine back.

I generally appreciate Tucker Carlson, but every time he discusses Ukraine and Russia, I bristle — especially when he contends that America has no interest in Ukraine. I know some of you might agree with Carlson, but you can be a solid conservative who is just as war-weary as the next guy and still see a security interest in Ukraine without being a neocon.

Putin claims to be protecting Russians left in Ukraine after the USSR collapsed, and that Ukraine is rightfully Russian and always has been, even though, historically, there was a Kiev before there was a Moscow. (By the way, it isn't pronounced keev as in keen, but kuh-YEEV in Ukrainian and KEY-yev in Russian.)

Vlad has been a serial breaker of international norms starting as early as 2008, when he invaded Georgia. He annexed Crimea in 2014 and made his first incursion into the Donbas region. Not only has he flagrantly violated Article 2(4) of the U.N. charter by his "use of force against the territorial integrity" of Ukraine, but he has repeatedly violated the promises Russia, the U.S., and the U.K. made in the 1994 Budapest Memorandum: security to Ukraine for giving up its nukes, with assurances that the U.S. would respond if Russia were to renege. All three nations agreed "to respect the independence and sovereignty and the existing borders of Ukraine" and "to refrain from the threat or use of force" against Ukraine.

Western Europe’s Deep States are allied with Putin and the ChiComs.

Pro-tip: Ukraine is a deep state playground and puppet. They are currently the Derps' 'boots on the ground/tip of the spear' in this farce.

You know what I really worry about?

Being caught in the middle when Deep States turn on one another.

Anyone else find the timing of the invasion interesting...

Deep States are having to give up the ghost on their scamdemic, and suddenly Putin invades.

What a coinkydink.

Being caught in the middle when Deep States turn on one another.

That's just family squabbles for a better seat at the dinner table, like Hillary v. Obama.

Be more worried about when the Derps and the heathen Chinee turn on one another. Now that will be interesting.

Of course they wanted to join NATO, look what Putin is doing to them. But immoral useful fools here decided that Ukraine “belongs” to Russia.

So what are you suggesting we do?

In deciding whether to take any more substantial opposition to Russia than meaningless expressions of outrage, western Europe won't side with the US. They don't want to freeze to death and have their economies destroyed from loss of energy. Even Canada has no willingness to give up their imports of Russian oil.

Countries don't have friendships. Countries have interests. Do you think it is in the best interest of the US to stand practically alone against Russia and China and harm the economies of our best allies in order to prop up Ukraine as an independent state?

Sorry to disagree, but Putin has consistently fought against the Deep State. Our so called allies in the EU want the New World Order. Ukraine is hopelessly corrupted. It launders the Deep State’s money. Remember that the sons of Romney, Kerry, Pelosi and Biden are all on the “Energy Boards” of Ukraine. There is also human trafficking and drugs.

Why should I take our “intelligence” community and Biden’s word for what is in our security interest?

Depends on which America we're talkin' about. Biden's America is not 'our' America, after all.

Exactly.

I’m already a traitor and an insurrectionist. Why should I support anything they advocate?

Note the timing of the invasion.

The scamdemic con is clearly up.

Patriots are protesting.

Deep States are on their back foot.

For a guy who’s supposedly against Deep States, his invasion couldn’t be better timed to help them out.

If Putin really wanted to stick it to them, there are far better, not to mention freaking cheaper, ways to stick it to DeepStates.

At this point, I think they’re all allied.

The real scary stuff will start when that’s no longer the case.

We are on the right side of history and the good guys in any scenario, no matter what the enemy says of us.

And we know who the real traitors and insurrectionists are.

This is purely a Russian/Ukrainian issue and dispute — with a little of Europe thrown in.

It’s not our issue or dispute.

It’s none of our business.

There’s a lot of misery in the world. It’s not our place to fix it with our children’s lives and our treasure…

Don’t blame Europe for this.

The mess in the Ukraine was created by America - when Obama toppled the government in a color coup, installed his own puppets and stole the countries gold.

Nor should any sane person want America to intervene in the Ukraine again. Let’s not send our sons to die in the War for Hunter Biden’s Paycheck.

Europe participated in Spygate and in the scamdemic.

Europe followed Obama’s orders on Spygate.

The Scamdemic was created by the American deepstate in cooperation with China.

Europe (and I’m sorry to say: the Commonwealth) have indeeed participated in the madness and the evil. But the source and prime mover always seems to be the American deep state.

"Before ever being considered for E.U. or NATO membership, Ukraine had a long list of changes to make, including severing its umbilical cord with Russia and ousting Russian sympathizers and puppets who continued to pollute its political system."

How can the USA demand that of the Ukraine when we have 81,000,000 "Russian sympathizers and puppets in the USA?

“Let them clean up their own mess.”

There wouldn’t be ANY mess for Europeans to clean up if Biden had just STFU. Biden relentlessly goaded them into this conflict. The worse his poll numbers became, the harder he goaded.

At least in the movie, “Wag The Dog”, the war was fake. Biden is actually going to kill people to distract from his abysmal crimes and failures.

Nope. This is on the USA RATs, not the Europeans.
