Former President Donald Trump said "everybody wanted" to get a COVID-19 vaccine when he was president and blamed vaccine mandates for low vaccine uptake among some segments of the population — even though millions of his supporters have refused to get vaccinated.
Trump, who falsely claimed vaccines cause autism in children as a presidential candidate, touted the development of COVID-19 vaccines while he was president.
"I think what we do get great credit for that they tried but it didn't work — even their side said you can't do that — is Operation Warp Speed," Trump said in an interview with the Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show. "And not only the fact that the vaccines were developed in nine months as opposed to five years to 12 years."

I think when the “vaccine” was first announced there was a flurry of public interest. But as the public learned more and more about the “vaccine,” lots of folks decided against the “vaccine.”
Which is just as well. Looking back on it we learned early on the “vaccine” was really an experimental gene therapy which might help a little. But the trillions of spike proteins in the shot did lots of damage to folks who took it.
A shame that this CCP virus has become weaponized and debated endlessly. Especially when there are supplements like Ivermectin and HCQ which, if applied early in treatment, can stop this gift from Dr. Fauxi and the Chinese in it’s tracks.

Same here. By June ‘20 if you hadn’t figured out this was the flu and no more dangerous to the vast majority of people, you weren’t paying attention. I would never have taken an experimental warp speed nostrum in an effort to prevent a mild case of the flu. Trump’s failed vaxx will end his political ambitions if he honestly still has them.

He wasn’t referring to the clot shots — said that years before Covid reared its ugly head. IIRC, he was referring to the evil “vaccine cocktails” routinely foisted on small children.

We wanted the vaccine for the vulnerable not for every human being on the planet. Those who are elderly and/or have co-morbidities or otherwise vulnerable.
“saved hundreds of thousands of lives”, yeah right. Was it going to prevent auto accidents, heart disease, cancer, etc. How big a lie did you accept on the actual number of Covid caused deaths? “Hundreds of thousands” is a flat out joke.
If they are untested they can, but I’d like to see the scribe of this hit piece produce a source to back up that claim.
I think that if he NEVER had referred to it using the word, “vaccine”, we’d be in a better place. Most people understand what an actual vaccine is, and knew that this isn’t one. It eroded the credibility of him, Pence’s godforsaken task force, the Fauci-Birx Clown Show, etc. Just call it a voluntary inoculation that might be beneficial.
I still want A vaccine for COVID. Just don’t know of any yet.
Pres Trump also said, “The cure cannot be worse than the problem”.
Would they have given Trump the results from the testing where thousands died from the vaccine ?
President Trump is right - everyone did want vaccines when he was President. Real ones. Safe and effective ones developed and approved by real scientists.
That was before we found out Big Government and Big Pharma were going to FORCE fake vaccines on us, and censor any real doctors and scientists who dared to speak out against it.

agreed. why isn’t he pitching ivermectin left and right?? He was the one that brought it up to begin with (or was it HCQ)....THIS is what heals people. Not some crap corrupted “vaccine”.

"Everybody" in this context is obviously is a figure of speech meaning "most" or "a lot" - this 'journalist' appears to be lost when it comes to this.
I’m certainly open to a thoroughly researched vaccine shown by extensive and transparent studies to be SAFE and EFFECTIVE.
They not only worked, but they worked extraordinarily well. Countless lives were saved. Thank you, President Trump.
Yes, untested - other than going through Phase I, II, and III trials and peer reviews before being released. Nor was it "gene therapy" any more than catching a virus is "gene therapy"
Almost certainly fewer people got vaccinated because of mandates and the discussion became hijacked into not about what is the best choice for our healthcare but whether or not someone was "complying" with The Man by getting vaccinated or not.
