Years ago, there was a stupid PSA played on the local talk radio stations in CT and NYC with a smarmy sounding white guy looking at a list of possible internal candidates for promotion. One by one he eliminates each one because of a governmentally-disapproved factor he found disqualifying. During the commercial he refers to one of the candidates as being “Light in the loafers”, and if he was promoted, soon the office would be full of them. Looks like he was right.
