Will they try to keep their jobs? Yes, although we’ve seen a few quit based on BLM garbage and the vax. The danger is mostly in do they want to keep their jobs - WHICH MEANS THE REAL PROBLEM IS WHAT DOES THE GOVERNMENT DEMAND THEY DO.
I have always felt exactly this way about the Military. It is directly an arm of the fed government. Conservatives tend to get too loving if the MIL just because libs SAY they hate them, and conservatives assume MIL loves their country and is patriotic, etc….and thus must love liberty. No. Commies LOVE the MIL as soon as they get control of them.
ALWAYS be circumspect of “enforcement” arms of government. IOW, whoever runs the gov, runs those forces of the law.

Police forces I. Several states are refusing to,enforce liberal mandates. Several counties in ny even refused to enforce them. Kudos to those cops and sherrifs
