For four years, Mike Pence served as the loyal vice president to then-President Donald Trump.
Everything changed on Jan. 6, 2021, as right-wing extremists – including some chanting "hang Mike Pence" - stormed the U.S. Capitol aiming to upend congressional certification of President Biden’s Electoral College victory that was overseen by Pence.
In the year since the end of the Trump administration, the former president and vice president have further drifted apart, with Pence acknowledging recently in a Fox News interview that he had not spoken with Trump since last summer.

pence problem bkmk
Stopped reading right there.
Pence is inconsequential. He has almost no real support.
Bush senior and Pence were both put in place as vice presidents so that individuals who represent deep state concerns and corporations could control what the republican establishment would describe as a rogue republican president. the idea was to have the president they served as vice president for removed as president if they could not control the actions of the office.
pence is still a nobody whom Trump plucked from obscurity and and has sent back to obscurity ... a fight between a lion like Trump and a gnat like Pence isn’t even possible ...
The one good thing about him is he didn’t run for a second gubernatorial term.
In reality President Trump is circling the sharks. They have given their all to destroy him and what have they accomplished... basically nothing. CNN has devalued itself to the point that it is being bought out. And the same is true of many other woke media conglomerates. And look at Facebook... they lost 25% of their value last Wednesday and the hemorrhaging is continuing. The leftist media moguls shot their wad and now they are paying the price.
I am sorry that you are pacing the floor and having sleepless nights desperately worried about what is coming in 2022. The future does not belong to meek Frady cats. Call those of us who are going in for the kill overconfident if you want, but now is the time to flush out the treacherous RINOs such as Pence. There is no room for a bunch of milquetoast idiots in Republican leadership roles in the coming bounce back from the fiasco the cheating Democrats have created for themselves.
Democrats have a long history of pushing things too far. Republicans have a long history of doing little when they have great opportunities to take it all back. It is pretty obvious that there are quite a few that are afraid to take advantage of the coming opportunities. Let's hope that you two and they do not once again snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
Democrat robotic mouse attacks Golden Eagle
Well they unfortunately got him booted from the White House, and he won't be returning until 2024, if ever. Hopefully you're at least up to date on that fact, and don't subscribe to some of the theories that he's still secretly in charge, or will be suddenly re-instated, etc.

All great news. I'm not sure how much Trump actually had to do with it though. He was close to MIA for a year since the election, and a lot of good things started happening as the pendulum is possibly starting to swing back our way. Things like Rittenhouse, and the vaccine mandate for businesses being stopped. This new awakening is mostly due to the government overplaying its hand on the vaccines, and on that subject, Trump's position is mixed.

Thank you, because I am very concerned about 2022, since the last major election was stolen, and I'm not sure how much if anything has actually changed in those states where it happened. I too hope that we can flush out treacherous RINO's as they are more insidious and dangerous that most Democrats, including at the state level like Rattburger. But you have to admit, Trump has done more than most to ensure RINO's like McConnell, Graham, and even Romney were elected by endorsing them. So as much as Trump has done to clean out the swamp, he's helped keep it full at times as well. Maybe he should just be part of our toolkit in removing RINO's, instead of our only tool in there, based on previous results.

I think you're confusing possible fear in me with bubbling frustration that not enough has been done when we had the chance, and I'm not sure I want to try the exact same gameplan of placing all our faith in just Trump alone again. I'm to the right of where he is, it sounds like you probably are too. I'd like to have seen more from him over the last year when the country was going to hell. Hopefully he was off sharpening his axe, because I guarantee you they have been plotting and laying as many traps as they could during that time, and "they" is most everyone in Washington.
I'll continue to support him, but it's not unconditional love or blind faith either. Bottom line, he's a politician, all of which are flawed. And he alone cannot drain the swamp, as we've seen. He needs allies, yet his list is always seeming to grow shorter. Even him and DeSantis, who live in the same state, haven't been pictured together in close to a year. He likes to keep the focus on himself, because it makes his followers more devoted to the thought that he alone can solve all these problems.
Instead, he should be building a coalition like the Gingrich Contract for America, or the Tea Party. "Save America" is a great motto, but it can't be done by Trump alone. In fact, if he doesn't get some people on his side for any other reason than fear of their own electorate, his list of those who want him gone will only grow, and the list is already extensive. That is my point, hope you read this far to get it. Thanks.
I appreciate your long and considerate reply to my snarky post. But you are overthinking the situation, something that I can often get caught up in myself. A sea change in attitudes in this country is taking place. President Trump and the Republican party need to stay out in front of it or it will be wasted.
I think when the crowd booed him when he started pushing the vaccines in August in Alabama I think the message started to sink in. People still love him, but he needs to keep a finger on the pulse of his supporters. They will turn on him if he goes off on a weird tangent.
As far as cheating in the next election... blue states like where my wife and I live will experience business as usual. But the majority of states are controlled by Republican legislatures and election irregularities are not going to fly in those states in 2022. And that is all that it is going to take to easily hand the Republicans majorities in the Senate and the House and also stall damage being done to our judiciary.
Because one of the New Mexican senators had a stroke last week...it is very possible that Biden will not be able to get a far-left replacement for Breyer in the Supreme Court before losing his majority in the Senate.
I totally agree. That's why I'm not completely on board of the massive but lonely Trump ship, which sails without any other ships in its fleet. Sure there's a couple of tugboats alongside, in Matt Gaetz and MTG, both of whom are probably my 2 favorite congresspeople, but he needs to build some more partners at higher levels. How that's best done is by having a platform, and a plan, beyond "you better support me or I will primary you." I've looked all over his website for a platform but all I see are links to donate.

I've been a huge supporter of Trump my whole life. I actually made a special trip to go to his Taj Mahal casino back when it was the largest casino in the world, and had one of the best times of my life to that date. I wanted him to run before 2016, and held my nose while voting for McCain and Romney. I believe that we need more actual businessmen involved in Washington, and thought he did fantastic his first 3 years, and agree with the sentiment that his accomplishments during that time are likely the greatest of any modern President. However I started to take the rose colored glasses off a little that fourth year, when he ceded to Pence and Fauci over the virus, and shut the whole country down when everyone I knew that had it was elderly yet still perfectly fine. But I still wore my MAGA hat everywhere, and even had a Trump flag cable-tied to the balcony of my house. Trump hasn't lost me, at all, but the fact I'm more lukewarm now means he's probably lost others.

I sure hope so. We're in a catch-22 somewhat though, in that we need to weed out the hidden Rats, without dividing the party too much. Trump can help with that, but only if he aims most of his fire on Democrats, rather than his potential challengers 2 years from now, which don't really matter in the here and now.
Instead of making the stolen election of 2020 all about his own personal grievances, make it more about how others may have been cheated as well. John James in Michigan. The two Georgia Senators. Focus on what exactly is the evidence that it was stolen, instead of how angry he is at Pence about it. Most Republican voters believe he got cheated, we don't need to be reminded anymore. If they're like me, they just want to know what, if anything, is ever going to be done about it, other than fundraising for another (crooked?) election. Dominion seems to be wining their lawsuits, by the way, yet we never hear a word about it. Thanks again.
This was another very well written post. In this case I am the grit from which you fashioned your pearl.
No different than CNN.
Yep they are. But I am never going to waste my time on a Pence or any RINO pretender ever. Take that Kilmeade. GFY. We ain’t buying no bull sheet.
They think because they are FOX news they can influence us just lie the RATS of the MSM, CNN and MSNBC.
Not going to happen ya jerks.
The worst?
Even with Sessions, Barr, McMasters, Wray, Scaramuci, Conaway, etc?
Good points on 2020. Others got cheated. BUT THEY SAID NOTHING to defend themselves so F them.
None of them had the power or folly to shut down the country, scorch the economy, destroy privacy and personal liberty and allow the Democrats to implement a completely insecure, fraudulent mail-in election.
No, just aid and abet our enemies foreign and domestic.
that too
Thank you as well, I appreciate your insights, and fighting spirit, which you articulated well. See you again soon, I hope.
