NFL star Tom Brady on Tuesday officially announces retirement.
The 44-year-old Brady made the announcement on Istagram, following unconfirmed news reports this past weekend.
That key date thing is inconsequential. He gets his 15M regardless.
I never understood Lennon’s attraction to the screeching Ono. I mean, he was a freaking Beatle, he could have done so much better.
It just made me laugh to think of it...over the years, Patriots fans have, for the last fifteen something years, often jokingly referred to her in that fashion.
The announcement isn’t the paperwork. If he hasn’t filed the paperwork he’ll still be on the roster friday. Of course in his household it really isn’t that much money.
I understand. And she is worth more than Tom.
But, delaying a retirement to a month where you make more money is something average people do every day. Look at Pelosi...she will win reelection and retire the day after she is sworn in. She will pick up that extra year on her retirement...
They have agents and lawyers doing all this stuff. And additional million or two means an additional couple hundred grand to the agents and lawyers. Tom is tossing them a bone.
I like girls who smile a bit more. It was hard for me to find a smiling picture Gisele (without sharing the scene with Tom). I dislike that, “I’m bored with everything” or that “I’m too cool for you” look.
He was an existing MLB prospect, but the NFL was his thing, getting out of high school, at least.
It’s not the being away, it’s the possibility of getting his brains beat in. Also she’s the primary breadwinner. They don’t need Tom’s money.

I cannot believe that Giselle has tolerated a husband, who at age 44 needs to spend time away from his family to work. Can you imagine such a horror?

Yea, a whole eight weekends a year he is playing out of town. A couple more if he is not the home team in the playoffs.
I think Brady was one of those guys who would have excelled in any sport he pursued.
But I believe, as Kyler Murray, I believe will soon find out, if I had the choice between Major League Baseball and the NFL, I would take Major League Baseball every time.
She’s probably always hangry.
Considering she’s worth more than Tom, it’s not as if she needs the money.

He was the last Expos Draft pick to retire.
He never fully recovered from the Eli Manning kryptonite.
He would not make it official because the remainder of his signing bonus kicked in on a specific date, and if he retired before that, he’d leave the money on the table. So he wouldn’t retire until then.
