I agree with most of the reasoning in this article. However, the purpose of the church is to seek and save the lost. It is not “social justice” or “societal change.” Of course, if the seeking and saving is effective, justice and change will follow because of changed lives, but again, that is not the purpose of the church. Losing or weakening the purpose of the church means that it becomes merely (another) do-gooder institute of man, not of God.
A person who considers them selves Black can become enlightened and part of the Afro Heritage minority minority that consists of real Americans.
Enlightenment easily consists of making the self declaration “I am not Black. I am American”.
