I remember that.

2006 was also a very Democrat leaning election year and Ed Rendell was no slouch as a candidate or a politician, either.

I really, really wanted to like her.

After seeing her website and watching her video clip I have the impression she’s a good person that’s not ready for prime time (like a Senate seat). She’d have better luck as a House Representative.

Not that I like Oz, and the jury is out on McCormick.

My honest opinion and nothing more.

I first heard her several months ago on Stacy on the Right radio show(xm sat.). I was impressed. I’ve donated to her campaign.

Kathy Barnett is the true deal. Followed her for many years. She’s beautiful. A woman of God, articulate, highly intelligent and definitely a tried and true conservative.

Her sights are set too high. Just look at Craig James in Michigan. If we don’t go with Oz we lose the seat. Santorum won in ‘94(wave election) but he served 2 house terms beforehand. POTUS election got him reelected in 2000 before he got stale in ‘06(off year). With Oz we can give him 6 for starters.

Understood. Though she doesn’t come across as a loose cannon in anything I can find about her that would be prone to gaffes.

A $10 million war chest could also help make her a lot better for “prime time” with a massive campaign operation.

Top of the ticket didn't win Pennsylvania that year.

Kathy is a good lady. She should get 100% FR support over Dr. Odd.

Better to lose the seat than to put Mitt Oz in it.

Do it my way. If Dr. Oz disappoints you can go back to work getting rid of him after 1 term. It should have happened to Thune after 2 terms. Hopefully we’ll learn our lesson if he goes wobbly. Most of them show their true colors in the 3rd term and Thune has no challenger after 3 victories-sucks man.

Everyone knows who Dr Oz is. Nobody’s heard of her.

Yes...and that could be the problem in his case.

She’s actually very conservative… Chris Stigall had her on his morning radio program a while back, and she is impressive.

Kathy Barnette is a true conservative, the real thing. I met her at the Tea Party & heard her speak at least 4 times. I donated to her. It’s a real shame that Dr. Oz is spending millions in PA. His ads are on tv constantly. I hope people don’t vote for him in the primary.
