Nils Lofgren announced Saturday that he's removing his music from Spotify to protest vaccine misinformation propagated by Joe Rogan.
The 70-year-old Bruce Springsteen guitarist made the announcement in solidarity with Neil Young, who removed his music from Spotify days earlier, by making his announcement in Young's newsletter.
Joni Mitchell has also followed suit by taking her music off the service in protest.

Exactly. Not ONE of them can discuss or debate COVID, treatments, drugs, therapeutics, mask efficacy, efficacy of “social distancing,” the psychological damage done to children wearing masks for two years, or anything about the disease. They are nothing but brain dead virtue-signalers jumping on the band wagon du jour.

So?
Concur; I can't think of a single tune of his I remember. I know he played with Neil Young in Crazy Horse at times but it is Danny Whitten I remember.

Clapton is totally down with Rogan’s rap.
Eric Clapton was in a much different class of guitarists too, and no wonder; he was in John Mayall's Blues Breakers band. The guitarists from that band are a Who's Who of the best of the 60s, 70s, and beyond.

Actually it’s “battle” lines being drawn.
And Neil Young was in the band that did that song.

I recently bought a used vinyl copy of Grin 1 + 1, the 2nd album by his first band. I already had it, but let my ex wife keep it.
The great thing about vinyl is that, just like books and magazines, I can have my own personal copy. Nobody can come into my house and change the lyrics, or the album cover, or the definition of words in my dictionary, or prevent me from listening tonor reading something simply because I disagree with the views of the author or musician.
The digital world is inherently geared towards censorship and totalitarianism. Old left wing musicians seem to recognize that, and they love it.

I’m pretty certain none of these has-beens are making any money on the app. When the heck was the last time you looked up Nils Lofgren on any music service? And while we’re here, Joni Mitchell wrote about 250 songs and they’re all terrible.
Neil was the least talented of CSNY and they were better off without him. He sang about “rockin in the free world” but now wants to dismiss freedom; and he’s blind and stupid to the reality of the clot shot “needle and the damage done”.
Well said, maybe you should consider trying your hand at song writing. You never know, might be a new career.

This bum is the luckiest mf'r in the world -- he can't upstage anyone because he's not good enough, so that put him in Crazy Horse to begin with -- then Lil Stevie told Bruce to shove it after recording "Born In The USA", and Lofgren ends up in E Street, doing his monkey circus trampoline thing. Unreal.
