Neil Young has posted an open letter to his management team and record label demanding that they remove his music from Spotify. “I am doing this because Spotify is spreading fake information about vaccines – potentially causing death to those who believe the disinformation being spread by them,” he writes. “Please act on this immediately today and keep me informed of the time schedule.”
“I want you to let Spotify know immediately TODAY that I want all my music off their platform,” he continues. “They can have [Joe] Rogan or Young. Not both.” Young is referencing the steady stream of misinformation about vaccines that Joe Rogan has peddled on The Joe Rogan Experience. Last month, 270 doctors, physicians, and science educators signed an open letter asking Spotify to stop spreading Rogan’s baseless claims.

I still have every album I bought between 1976 and 1982. I’ll bet that 90-percent of them....no one under the age of 30 has ever heard of.
I brought up Bob Seeger to my son last year....never heard the guy. Same for Toto.
Not a Neil Young fan much anymore. But like Bruce Springsteen used to listen. But quit around 2004 to 2010 both guys and also Green Day.
I like sarcasm. But if you really don’t know. He is a musician to boil it down. He is aging. Started in the mid 60s. Canadian born. He was working with Rick James then joined Buffalo Springfield. He and band mate Stephen Stills were part of Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young. But there was a lot of tension in the 70s band. So Young kept departing and going solo. He dabbled in acoustic music, folk music, hard rock, soft rock, even country in 1985. He is a rock and roll artist. He quit drugs but is far left and he got worse since 1995. He is mostly solo now. He is over 70. And he divorced his wife after 41 years of age for Daryl Hannah, Splash and Roxanne.
41 years of marriage. Marriage got cut off.
Never gave a hoot about Neil Young.
Excellent deal.
ROGAN
My brother plays Metallica, GNR, Deep Purple, Beastie Boys and Led Zep while fixing his cars, and more. Eventually my 11-year old nephew, who is turning 12 this year , kept asking his dad who’s this, who’s that. That’s how he got into rock and metal.
I had a horrible idea the other day that Young might have played lead on Carry On, which is a really enjoyable lead. Thankfully, it was Stephen.
An upstart!
As if any of Rogan’s 11 million want to hear Neil Young, or any of Young’s dozens are coherent enough to understand Rogan. I picture a nonintersecting Venn diagram.
Then it can be revoked.🤔
George Harrison's opinion of Neil Young's lead guitar playing.
