So...
How many of his children and how much of his personal wealth is he willing to sacrifice so that Ukraine doesn’t stand alone?

I doubt there is anything in the Ukraine worth a single American life or a single taxpayer dollar.

Maybe if we had a more competent political and military leadership we might be able to finesse it. But the current leadership is so bad that we should avoid any confrontations.

Ukraine is important because Senators have sons
who TRAFFICK women and children through the
Xiden tunnels (10% for the Big GUY).

The Russians and locals have apparently had it
with that and the takeover by SoroXi and Obola.

Ridiculous. The CIA and Nuland Gang overthrew a duly-elected Ukraine President in 2014. Once it flipped from Russian Oligarch kleptocracy to American kleptocracy, the parasites from Hunter Biden to David Axelrod to Alex Vindman moved in.

All the neocon cretins have achieved is pushing a European-looking Russia into a tight alliance with China.

Ukraine means absolutely NOTHING to the United States. Sorry, not sorry, just the truth.

There should be no limit to the support we give Ukraine with intelligence and military equipment. Whatever it takes short of boots on the ground

I doubt that intelligence and equipment would be enough for Ukraine to push back the Russians. And our intelligence abilities aren't all that good anyway.

Hey Wilber.

Look at the logistics. Look at the EU (and our) dependance on Russian Nat Gas.

Look at our military.

We can not stop Russia. We (NATO and the US) need to take a huge step back and either build up or retrench further west.

If that doesn’t work Wilber, you and your kids first.

Ukraine matters because of the Budapest memorandum. In exchange for surrendering its nuclear weapons, Ukraine’s territory and political independence were guaranteed. Confirming that denuclearization is a foolish choice makes the world more dangerous.

Do we turn our backs on Ukraine, just as we did Czechoslovakia and Hungary in years past?

Afghanistan is the more accurate parallel - where a feminist-dominated US government just relegated an entire country’s female population to 6th Century slavery without a backward glance.

Any promises made to Ukraine would not be worth the social media messages the State Department issued them through. This US government cannot guarantee freedom to its own citizens, let alone any other country’s.

“I recall at the time commenting that we needed to tone it down, and even extend a welcoming hand to Russia and help them modernize and become a valued ally. Helping Russia transition from communism to freedom and a market based economy wasn’t just in Russia’s best interest, it was also in our best interest.”

Russia will never truly transition to a modern state until they actually dump the Communist party instead of letting them continue to run the country into the ground. We can’t do that for them; Russians will have to eventually do that for themselves.
