If President Biden’s press conference Wednesday was supposed to inspire confidence, it failed — horribly.
Even though he spent most of it clearly calling on reporters from a list of “safe” questioners provided by his staff, he stumbled and bumbled and all too often made no sense at all. Plus, he repeated his bizarre “whisper shout” gimmick to emphasize certain points — when what it actually emphasizes is his age.
On that note, he kept walking down memory lane, reminiscing about how “in my day” cable news was like that, the Republican Party was like this, and so on. He’s fighting old wars in his head, or maybe he’s just confused about the modern world.
Yet he couldn’t remember what he said last week, insisting he hadn’t compared opponents of end-running the Senate filibuster rules to pass the nationalize-election-law bill to Bull Connor and Jefferson Davis. Yet minutes later, he warned those same (Democratic!) senators that their supposedly infamous position will stick with them all the rest of their days.

Wow.......
I’m expecting a wag the dog situation to develop soon.
If he got 81m votes, why do Dems need “new and improved” voting?
Unless they plan to cheat.......snx.
In order to survive, the Dems need to codify and institutionalize cheat by mail.
Without, they know they’re gonna be relegated to minority status for decades.
Don’t allow the NY Post to let you forget that they attacked Trump for fighting the stolen 2020 Election.
I hear drJill was so pleased w/ Biden’s press conference, she decided they’d have celebration sex.
So she mixed up his usual Sex Enabler cocktail of Extenz and Ageless Male......
and added a soupcon of Vigoro to keep Joe.......ahem......”up” an extra minute or two.
Sad, and hard to watch. I lasted 10mins, before switching to The Weather Channel for today’s snow forecast.
Yup.
I thought the same thing when I heard Doocey's question. It was too general in nature, allowing Biden to dismiss it by saying, in effect, "no I'm not." I would have preferred a specific question about the crime wave in America's cities, or the chaos at the southern border.
It is sad for him , his family and the country, but if you think about it he is the perfect president for the progressive agenda. He will never push back on anything they place in frony of him because he has no independent judgement left. They will fight to get every legislative push they can and he will sign it. It will be very difficult to undo all this legislation and executive orders.
In the next Congress, assuming it is GOP in both house, he will be a veto machine.
Well said.
It was a disaster, the media hailed the fact that he stood up for 2 hours, that’s where their minds are.
It’s what happens when you have to read your responses to preapproved questions from a notebook and then try to use a useless brain to try to sound legit and expand on your own to a question you obviously can’t process.
Because they want to KEEP 2020’s mail in voting deluge, where every address, even ones where the voter has moved or died, gets a ballot a purple-haired, nose-ring wearing activist can fill out and return for the democrat running...
That record of “so many people voting” was really about how much CHEATING went on.
When Republicans rightfully turned off mass blast mail ins and ballot harvesting, well, that would turn off the cheat faucet for the democrats, and they simply can’t have that and must demagogue their way out of those legit restrictions.
Many are speaking well of him. Good that CNN is acknowledging the disaster it was.
I just read where Xiden’s “media” is calling this a “fiery speech”. I guess Jo Jo’s pants caught on fire.
Peter Doocy got one question about governing from the left, but NO follow-up. Number one news channel in cable and he gets 1 while the NBC gal got FIVE! Then he wasn't even upset when talking to Hannity last night, glad sean let him go early as Peter was saying how great Biden was. I thing he has stockholm syndrome from hanging with the lefty WH press corps.
Exactly, he was weak.
