If President Biden’s press conference Wednesday was supposed to inspire confidence, it failed — horribly.
Even though he spent most of it clearly calling on reporters from a list of “safe” questioners provided by his staff, he stumbled and bumbled and all too often made no sense at all. Plus, he repeated his bizarre “whisper shout” gimmick to emphasize certain points — when what it actually emphasizes is his age.
On that note, he kept walking down memory lane, reminiscing about how “in my day” cable news was like that, the Republican Party was like this, and so on. He’s fighting old wars in his head, or maybe he’s just confused about the modern world.
Yet he couldn’t remember what he said last week, insisting he hadn’t compared opponents of end-running the Senate filibuster rules to pass the nationalize-election-law bill to Bull Connor and Jefferson Davis. Yet minutes later, he warned those same (Democratic!) senators that their supposedly infamous position will stick with them all the rest of their days.

If I could have been a reporter, and asked a question, I would have posed the thesis...IF THERE IS NOTHING FOR DEMOCRATS TO HIDE, WHY NOT DO A FORENSIC STUDY AND SAMPLING OF SOME OF THE BALLOTS THAT WERE CAST, AND PROVE ONCE AND FOR ALL THAT JOE BIDEN WAS DUTIFULLY ELECTED?

and his displeasure at having created a “perfect government” for such horrible people.
Biden became unhinged in Georgia especially b/c Stacey Abrams was not there to hold his hand .
Biden made one startling declaration after another.
He reviled Americans who disagree with him about how he has “perfectly” ensured the integrity of the American electoral process.
To somebody as “perfect” as Biden, we are nothing but modern-day Confederates,
racist traitors, closeted supporters of slave-holding president Jefferson Davis.

While Biden had a pre-approved list of reporters to call on by name (likely knew the questions in advance) he later took questions from random reporters. One of the first was Peter Doocey of FoxNews. He asked him why he was turning the country so far to the left. I think Peter could have asked a more complex question that would have required some cognitive function to answer as anyone could have predicted Biden’s answer to that question.
Rosen of NewsMax did hit Biden with a question regarding why 49% of voters question Biden’s cognitive function to serve as President. Biden just said “I have no idea!” Wish he would have followed up by asking if he’d take a full mental status examination administered by a panel of neuropsychologists “in order to reassure Americans and restore faith in the American People that you are up to the job! Now you know he’s have squirmed his way out of that !!!
I don’t see that all, the Democrats on CNN etc said it was a disaster.
