Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) stated that there are already laws and rules in place to ensure people “have the right to vote. We have that.” And even though people “act like we’re going to obstruct people from voting. That’s not going to happen.”
When asked, “There’s a lot of people who are saying that you’re making it so that they’re not going to be able to vote in the next election?” He said: “The law’s there. The rules are there. The government will stand behind them and make sure they have the right to vote. We have that. The things they’re talking about now are in court. Things are happening, okay. We act like we’re going to obstruct people from voting. That’s not going to happen.”

In spite of what Manchin might’ve done in the past, he is today one honest democrat. How refreshing.

I want to meet the people who are stopped from voting because of the voter ID issue. There are none. Campus Reform has a video where they ask whites about having to use ID to vote and they ALL say that it is racist to ask the blacks to have to use ID when they vote-Libs always seem to think that the blacks are too stupid to know how to get an ID or use a computer to get an ID. Let’s just say the truth. Then CR asked a bunch of blacks the same thing and guess what, they knew how to use computers, and where the BMV was to get an ID and they all had IDs. So libs blacks are not too stupid to do this AS YOU claim. And the blacks think YOU are racist for thinking this, Dems always make it sound like they are being so magnanimous but the truth as we ALL know is that this is one way they use to cheat.

For all these years I’ve thought voting was a privilege not a right.
The Dems can never give any concrete examples of “People of Color” denied access to voting - or unable to procure an ID card in order to vote.
This is about making it easier for voter fraud. Nothing more.
Nope. He just got reelected last year. Maybe he does have an ounce of patriotism.
Imagine how many death threats a day he gets.
Joe is in a deep, deep red state.
Joe is the only Democrat remaining in a statewide office.
Joe won the last general election in 2018 with less than 50% (apparently you can win a general election with a plurality in WV).
Either Joe is planning on running again in 2024 and is desperate to separate himself from the rest of the Dems, or he is not running and he is dead tired of the constant yammering of Dems.
Not until 2024. And he’d sail through in WV. Commie Bernie actually said let’s primary Manchin and Sinema. 🤣

He doesn't seem to understand. For Democrats to lose is proof that there was voter suppression.
Honest? The guy is a sleaze. Maybe it’s because he is from WV, maybe he doesn’t want the country destroyed for his kids, but everyone who has worked hand in hand with Shumer, Reid and Pelosi for decades cannot be “honest”.
In spite of that Rat voter “reform” efforts are serious matter and I’m grateful Manchin has decided to tell the truth this time.
