After Andreea’s mom died of COVID-19 in April, the harassment started. Noxious messages started coming in after she wrote a Facebook post letting friends and family know about her loss.
One person messaged her to say they couldn’t believe her mother hadn’t protected herself. Andreea has since deleted most of the other messages, but she remembers people saying things like “I can’t believe your mom was an anti-vaxxer” and “I can’t believe she didn’t understand that COVID could kill you.” “Instead of people saying that they were sorry for my loss, they would question my mom’s medical choices. It became all about her vaccine status. It was incredibly hurtful,” Andreea, a language instructor, who asked to be identified by only her first name in order to prevent further harassment, told me.
It also wasn’t true that her mother was an anti-vaxxer. According to Andreea, her mom, who was a nurse, did have initial concerns about the vaccine, but after talking with her doctor, she had scheduled an appointment for her first dose. Unfortunately, she got sick before she could get it, Andreea says.
In 2020, dying of COVID-19 was widely seen as an unqualified tragedy. It was the beginning of the pandemic, when it felt as if the entire world was in a state of collective grief. There was a palpable, shared mourning for all the lives gone too soon: the smiling mothers and jokester grandfathers and so-and-so from church who always lent a helping hand. All victims of a virus, unfurling and cruel.
But that was before the vaccines. Before COVID deaths got caught up in a culture war.
Now the majority of COVID deaths are occurring among the unvaccinated, and many deaths are likely preventable. The compassion extended to the virus’s victims is no longer universal. Sometimes,

I know the differences between all these groups but I put them into one big pot of totalitarianism: Communists, socialists, Nazis, Fascists, BLM, ANTIFA, Democrats. Oh, and the NWO and the Muslims.
All those who would curb freedom in their quest to control.
I had Covid in March 2020. I’m not vaxxed and just got omicron on January 7th. It hasn’t been a walk in the park for me though, which may be because I’ve had bronchitis at least four times in my 68 years on Earth so my lungs have been somewhat damaged. I still have an annoying somewhat productive cough, but otherwise I think I’m finally on the upswing. My son-in-law also has it, even though he had Covid in December 2020 and had 2 doses of the Pfizer vaccine last spring.
An extended family member of mine had to get the jab for his work, even tho he had Covid in the summer of 2020. A week after his second shot, he dropped dead from a blood clot in October, right in front of his 11 yo daughter.
I’m unvaxxed but I’ve been taking all the recommended vitamins and supplements for over a year now. I just recently added ivermectin to my regimen, but I still got Covid again on January 7th. Hubby got it first but he’s over it already. However, I’m still afflicted with a somewhat productive cough. No fever and good saturations so I’m sure it’s just a few more days until I’m over it. I have no doubt it would have been worse if I wasn’t taking vitamins D, C & K, quercetin, zinc, turmeric, NAC, etc.
I am unvaxed, my wife is unvaxed. We were mission essential through all of this and neither of us Caught the cooties.
It’s the cesspool of “THE ATLANTIC”, all bullshit/all lies all the time.
That's what the data shows for either avoiding COVID or if infected, staying out of the hospital. Keep it up!!

That's an interesting way to put it. So in broader terms, Fascists cull out their neighbors who have "defective" biology, and Communists cull out their neighbors who have "defective" morality.
In both cases, the more broadly they define "defective", the more neighbors they cast out "for the common good".
... and then their world is PERFECT!!
... and the more pretty wives (and fine homes and good jobs etc etc) become available. Seems like the general foundation of history to me, invent a reason to send the competition to oblivion, then feast on the spoils. We have a polite version of this in Canada, have had for many years, I call it voluntary communism.
Speaking of Covid, which is day #15 for me, I have had a really strange symptom for the last week. My vision is really intense and colors are brighter than normal, especially my central vision, while my peripheral vision is on the blurry side. I’ve had ocular migraines for years now with the zigzag lines (scotoma) and this almost feels like that but without the scotoma. I feel dizzy like I’m going to faint, and it takes about 30-60 minutes for my vision to improve. Anybody else experience something similar? It’s pretty scary while it’s happening.
And my BP is around 145/85 mmHg which is normal for me on my BP meds.
