It seems like yesterday when Oprah was talking about saving the planet by merely replacing old light bubs with the squigglies - to save electricity.

It’s going to be like the first 2 terms under Osama.
We we going to be trillions more in the hole with little to show for it.
Meanwhile, our humble servants by another mansion and add more to their multimillions.

Other issues to consider:

Managing the hazardous waste generated by used batteries will be difficult and expensive.

Making batteries light enough to be used in vehicles means skipping on reinforcement of the batteries. Expect gruesome car fires during crashes.

Asphalt roads should be replaced with charging roads (no more pot holes!). As the EV drives on these charging roads, it gets charged. Like those charging pad things they have for iphones.
Then the fun part will be not being able to drive when it rains or snows to avoid electrocution.

an EV charging station would require 600, 50-watt chargers

A 50 watt charger? False in one, false in all.

As with the China virus exploitation to increase the government’s control over us, the same applies to the electric vehicle craze to stop climate change. It is a NWO ruse designed to control individual mobility to hamper civilians resistance against those who are hell bent on “their fundamentally changing” this United States of America as the Obozo promised would happen.

Disingenuous from the first sentence.
Most EVs are charged at home most of the time.
Most ICE vehicles are filled at stations most of the time.
No comparison.

And now Canada is investigating Tesla because their EVs are not putting out enough heat to defrost windshields in the cold weather.

“To do this, they will employ smart meters that are programmed to automatically switch off EV charging in peak times to avoid potential blackouts.”

Musk has an app to deal with that.

What about the diesel powered tractors, combines and trucks that plant, harvest and transport grain? There are currently no electric farm vehicles and where in the middle of a field do you charge that electric tractor or combine? The move to ban internal combustion engines could leave us starving.

I had a couple EVs as a kid. They were called Sizzlers.

I seem to remember that they looked a lot like Tesla Model Ss.

Solution is simple; put a small trailer behind the EV and put a generator in the trailer, run an extension cord between the EV and the genny, problem solved. Or how about this, trailer with windmill generator, now we have perpetual motion. :)
