Implosion Of The Media & False Narratives
The Liberty Sentinel ^ | 15 January 2022 | Liberty Sentinel Staff

Americans and people around the world are no longer buying the fear-mongering and propaganda being peddled by the so-called mainstream media, says Alex Newman in this interview with Liberty and Finance chief Dunagan Kaiser.

“The media’s control over the narrative has all but imploded,” says Newman, arguing that a return to freedom could be coming, at least if people continue to break away from the mainstream.

Still, the elites have many possible tricks up their sleeves, so Americans should not get complacent.

The corruption of science and education are major topics addressed here, too, particularly as they relate to the COVID pandemic.

I quit trusting the media after Watergate. It became obvious the media had an agenda and a narrative that was controlling what they reported and how they reported it. Fairness and facts became irrelevant.

the media is engaged in constant gaslighting- they no longer care about objective news reporting for the most part- they are minsiters of propaganda-:

Definition:

Gaslighting is a form of psychological manipulation that seeks to sow seeds of doubt in a targeted individual or in members of a targeted group, making them question their own memory, perception, and sanity.

Using persistent denial, misdirection, contradiction, and lying, it attempts to destabilize the victim and delegitimize the victim’s belief.

Instances may range from the denial by an abuser that previous abusive incidents ever occurred up to the staging of bizarre events by the abuser with the intention of disorienting the victim.

The term owes its origin to the 1938 Patrick Hamilton play Gaslight and its 1940 and 1944 film adaptations. The term has been used in clinical and research literature, as well as in political commentary.

Also of note:

“In my study of communist societies, I came to the conclusion that the purpose of communist propaganda was not to persuade or convince, not to inform, but to humiliate; and therefore, the less it corresponded to reality the better.

When people are forced to remain silent when they are being told the most obvious lies, or even worse when they are forced to repeat the lies themselves, they lose once and for all their sense of probity.

To assent to obvious lies is...in some small way to become evil oneself. One’s standing to resist anything is thus eroded, and even destroyed. A society of emasculated liars is easy to control.

I think if you examine political correctness, it has the same effect and is intended to.”

Yea, the local left wing bozos for the media in Dayton ohio can still keep a straight face while trying to sell this covid bullshit. They don’t even realize how stupid they look. They are a laughing stock. But they try to get the weather right at least 5 % of the time.

Look up Conway Zirkle; he has quite a bit to say on what happens when science becomes corrupt because of politics.

It’s not so much how stupid they look but how determinedly enthusiastic they must be to want to continue to provide such a disservice. In Metro Detroit we have WXYZ Ch. 7 “Action News” and they’ve been a model local affiliate of ABC News for long time.

They’re no different, however worse perhaps, than your beloved news teams in Dayton and the rest of them here. They’ll need psychotherapy by the time Trump is re-re-elected because the narrative(s) they seem to prefer, if not enjoy, will hopefully have been slapped out of their hands. They must learn to adapt to a drastic reduction of the overall scale and scope of their influence and operational comfort zones. This won’t take just a village, it will take an army of viewers and eventually, non-viewers.

It couldn’t happen that way all on it’s own though. I could still be one of their viewers but I’m only there to monitor their on-air performance for inaccuracies, and as a possibly harsh critic of theirs, I would hope that I’m not the only one.

I remember something called the “newspaper wars” happening back in the mid-90s between the Detroit Free Press and the Detroit News but the winner of that whole thing seems to have been TV and the Internet as we know it all too well today.

-- "the media is engaged in constant gaslighting...."

Thanks for posting sheer clarity! The Dalrymple citation is a gem.

Interesting that both the Gaslight films show the “nice” husband “caring” for his wife to the point she questions herself. And of course he is the avaricious criminal.

He "cared" like today's career politicians "care."

Is olc an ghaoth nach séideann do dhuine éigin.

Conway Zirkle (October 28, 1895 – March 28, 1972), professor emeritus at the University of Pennsylvania, was a botanist. He wrote on evolution, the history of biology, and the philosophy of science.

Whenever like mates with like (genetically), the statistical distribution curve, which describes the frequency of the purely fortuitous combinations of genes, is flattened out, its mode is depressed, and its extremes are increased. This reduces the number of the mediocre produced and increases the numbers both of the sub-normal and the talented groups.

It is possible that, without this increase in the number of extreme variants, no nation, race or group could produce enough superior individuals to maintain a complex culture. Certainly not enough to operate or advance a civilization. ...Any number of social customs have stood, and still stand, in the way of an optimum amount of selective matings.

In a feudal society, opportunities are denied to many able men who, consequently, never develop to the high level of their biological potential and thus they remain among the undistinguished. Such able men (and women) might also be diffused throughout an “ideal” classless society and, lacking the means to separate themselves from the generality, or to develop their peculiar talents, would be effectively swamped.

In such a society they could hardly segregate in groups. In fact, only a few of the able males might ever meet an able female who appealed to them erotically.

Obviously an open society—one in which the able may rise and the dim-wits sink, and where like intelligences have a greater chance of meeting and mating—has advantages that other societies do not have.

Our own society today—incidentally and without design—is providing more and more opportunities for intelligent matrimonial discrimination. It is possible that our co-educational colleges, where highly-selected males and females meet when young, are as important in their function of bringing together the parents of our future superior individuals as they are in educating the present crop.

Say what? Millions of people in the States believe the unvaxxed are the cause of what's happening right now. Where'd they get that idea? They didn't get it from this relatively small site or Breitbart or Glenn Beck or Alex Jones.

As Chris Plante likes to say, the MSM enjoys 'information dominance' and until we address that they can spout what they want and millions more will still believe them. Until they are challenged heavily with alternate news sources, the politicians can say what they want unchallenged and get away with it.

Granted, the nightly national news shows do not have such dominance anymore. However, hundreds or thousands of local affiliate stations across the country still pay attention and will spout whatever their masters tell them.

WE may not take them seriously, but millions do. I wish I were wrong about that. These past two years have told me otherwise.
