I ask myself this question about many of the lawyers in congress. For example: Hank “Guam might tip over” Johnson. I watched the film where he said it to a Navy Admiral and Johnson was dead serious. The Admiral admirably kept a straight face, I don’t know how he did it.
Law school is supposed to be tough so are state bar exams, yet congress is over run with incredibly ignorant and really stupid lawyers.
The few lawyers I’ve had experience with I have found to be intelligent and well spoken, I suppose only the dumb ass ones make it to congress.
