Joe Biden's disastrous 48 hours
The Hill ^ | January 14, 2022 | Joe Concha

Posted on 01/14/2022 8:38:15 AM PST by rightwingintelligentsia

It's hard to imagine a worse 48-hour stretch for any first-year president than the one Joe Biden endured over the past two days.

On Wednesday, Quinnipiac University released a devastating poll placing the president's public approval at 33 percent, his lowest approval in any poll since his presidency began.

What makes just one-third of the country supporting this president even more remarkable is that Biden received more votes than any other presidential candidate in history: 81 million, or more than 10 million more votes than the previous record holder, Barack Obama. The drop has been unprecedented: Biden sat at 55 percent approval upon entering office almost one year ago.

Also on Wednesday, it was announced that the Consumer Price Index rose seven percent in 2021, its fastest increase since 1982. It was also announced that inflation is now sitting at a 40-year high.

Things somehow was worse on Thursday. The president went to Capitol Hill to rally Democrats around passing voting rights legislation, only to see Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-Ariz.) go to the floor ahead of his arrival to declare that she would not support eliminating the filibuster.

And as if straight out of a political horror movie, not long after the president got news of Sinema's remarks, the Supreme Court ruled to block enforcement of a vaccine mandate for businesses with 100 or more employees.

Add it all up: The economy is crippled by high prices and not-so-transitory inflation. The president is rebuffed (again) by a member of his own party on a major initiative. And then his vaccine mandate is struck down by a 6-3 decision in the Supreme Court.

All in less than 48 hours.

While I enjoy seeing Bidet getting punched in the face a couple of times, we need the R’s to take the House and gain in the Senate, and maybe get Pelosi to resign, to further hamstring, if not put down like a rabid dog, this communist regime.

“the walls are closing in”

A lie requires an exhausting amount of time and energy to sustain, despite what Goebels said. He was just riding an amphetamine high for a few years until his walls started closing in.

Bidens gang spews lies every day on every issue. Every agency and every department is getting caught up in their lies. Nobody trusts anything they say anymore. Sticking to a cancerous festering narrative every day without self examination and self correction is going to destroy the Beltway. But then again that may be the best thing to ever happen really.

Good point.

One very big problem with Libs is that they cannot be honest. They could not survive without their lies and deceit.

And they rely on their ignorant and stupid, dumbed down, indoctrinated sheep who are Useful Idiots. Thus, a Lib can say anything, spin anything, distort anything, etc. and their Useful Idiots will believe it.

Critical thought vs. Emotional feelings.

Liberals work up the base over how they feel or hope about something. They claim to be the front line dispenser in meeting your needs.

Joe Biden’s disastrous 48 years more like it.

Even Obama warned people about his stupidity.

And to think. 81 million people “voted” for and support a disgusting dirty child sniffing chomo. Can the nation be redeemed? Unlikely.

After reading this article and witnessing the two terms of Obama and this last year of Biden, in contrast with the four years of President Trump, it's clear that the pundits who say that one can't blame a president for things that happen is wrong.

To see how fast Biden destroyed the stability and prosperity of the United States by canceling President Trump's policies, it's clear that electing a President is very consequential, and should be a very serious matter.

Gosh, that is amazing, isn't it? How could such a thing possibly be? Surely if the Dems can fake 81 million votes their media can fake better poll numbers than this.

Fact is, Dementia Joe's last 48 hours haven't been much worse than his entire first year in office, taken as a whole. His loyal team of pompom wavers don't have a single, solitary feather to place in their caps and the midterms loom. The Dems' best strategy at this point is to push Swamp Creature Republican candidates and hope that they do what RINOs do. Not a great position.
