Yes it is if their political choices do not follow the Constitution. That's the whole point of having a Supreme Court (plus settling disputes between the states).

The Supreme Court did not issue a ruling on the constitutionality of President Joe Biden's vaccine mandates for private companies and medical workers Thursday. While it wasn't a guarantee the Justices would issue a ruling today, it was likely given the pressing nature of Biden's mandates impacting the futures of more than 100 million Americans.
During oral arguments about the cases, which took place last week, conservative Justices seemed skeptical of Biden's mandates. A number of lower courts previously ruled the mandates were unconstitutional given Congress never approved them.
"During several hours of oral arguments, the court’s conservative majority posed sharp questions about whether a federal workplace law that Congress passed some five decades ago provides the legal authority for a vaccine-or-test policy affecting roughly 84 million workers at large employers," the Hill reported. "The conservative justices also appeared wary, though slightly less so, of a separate coronavirus vaccine mandate that applies to the roughly 17 million health care workers at hospitals and other facilities that receive federal funding through the Medicare and Medicaid programs."
Liberal Justices argued heavily in favor of the mandates and falsely stated current Wuhan coronavirus vaccines prevent transmission of the disease. According to data and CDC Director Rochelle Walensky, that is not true.

stalling is defacto approval of the mandates. wait long enough and it won’t matter companies without liability are mandating on their own. We need EUA ended and a few CEO’s croaking from adverse reaction tot the jab.
I am convinced that this is indeed the plan. My employer sent notice two weeks ago that they were implementing regardless of what the SC does. This just gives employers political cover to implement. I’ve been a wreck the past several weeks after I submitted my religious exemption request. It was finally approved yesterday, but I see the writing on the wall...time to look for employment elsewhere while I still have a job.

Apparently we waited a little longer and now they have ruled.
I believe SCOTUS has been blackmailed/scared into INTENTIONALLY DELAYING the ruling. I believe the reason is that the powers behind Biden want companies to implement the tyranny, and have it in place so long that they will not undo it when SCOTUS strikes down the mandate. I know the Zampolits at my workplace LOVE stomping on the ‘unvaccinated’ employees like me. What a power thrill they must get from making my life miserable. (Why should I wear a mask when I am ALONE in my own office? STUPID! The ‘vaccinated’ don’t have to do that!)
