Yes and blather on about how heâs going to lead investigations to get to the bottom of it and hold people accountable. No investigation will ever be held.
Just a reminder: if people here or elsewhere had stopped shooting down any attempts at doing the right thing, and actually gotten out and worked for good GOP candidates and then when push came to shove, voted for any GOP candidate and got them inâŚwe wouldnât be in this situation.
Itâs a numbers game, especially as played by the Dems, and the GOP is in the minority and canât do much more than complain. This committee, in fact, was completely ridiculed by the Dems, who actually tried to stop the Republicans from even having it.
Todayâs effort may not seem like much, but at least theyâre doing it and we need to support that, not shoot it down and think weâre cool by ridiculing it.
Sometimes I wonder just how many Dem trolls we have on this site, undermining FReepersâ confidence in their ability to do anything because itâs all a lost cause.

This was from the emails published by the oversight committee. This very topic was discussed on FR—how on earth did 12 nucleotides change to result in translation of a spike protein that made it so precisely transmissible in humans?
